  1. If it is going to be out of proportions, then your design is gone. Thats not what i want. I keep it with the same tyres you used. 6 of them, two hard grey springs and a few tiles, is what i need. The rest of the parts i have..
  2. I know, i have the same with my moc. And even more now it is placed in the scale modeling forum. But back to the dumper, i have one question, Do you think Majkl if it is possible with some mods to put the Claas tyres under the dumper. I ask this for 2 reasons, one i have a few and inough for the dumper, and i am curious how that will look with the 42054 in front of it...
  3. A stunning and amazing moc. It is the next one my list. I am building Lucio's Crane Truck at the moment, and when it is ready, this one is next.. love it..
  4. Like all of your ships, stunning.. great creation..
  5. Found this wip picture. First attemd to get the t1 to steer. Had to take it apart because it didend work with the M-motor and gears. Just to heavy. The finished model has a Servo motor. It whas not just replace the motor, but also rebuild the bottem again.. I know i have some more wip pictures somewhere, if i find them i will add them.. Found some more wip pictures. So some insight of the build. It whas a bit stuppid of me, to forget to make step by step pictures. As Edwin Korstanje told me i while ago, it would have made it easy to make instructions of the t1. Now i dont know if that is ever going to be possible.
  6. Love that one also. I am currenly in file 3. I had made a miscount, and mis 1 3L liftarm. Use another color instead untill the orderd one comes in. I like the shockabsorber solution. There are a lot in the cranetruck, but money wise it saves a lot..
  7. I only can say, i wish i could handle a camera better...
  8. I am going to buy that one.. i had the first one as a boy in the 70's, so that is an extra reason to buy one...
  9. Since a few weeks, i have my own lego/hobby room. I have tried a few differend boxes, but the system i have now works for me. Not completely done with the labels, but i am getting there. Afther sorting out all of my parts, i didend know that i allready have a nice collection of ( mostly new ) parts.
  10. Thats why i like those reviews. Makes you thinking outside the box. ??
  11. Jim reviewd the front of the vw, he sayd that it could look more like the real one. I have tried many differend things, but this front whas functional to build and my only idea so far. But maybe Jim or some other EB nembers have an idea, i will be open to suggestions. A review keep you sharp and creative. ???
  12. I must say, i like it that Jim moved it to this forum??????
  13. Tnx. the front has took me the most of the time to build. I have tried it on many different ways. With rigged hose, flex axles, but this is what i came out with, time afther time. it is the best way so far. But maybe someone on EB has another idea, then i always look in to it and improve it. Tnx for putting the moc in the scale modeling forum.
  14. I can ask them, but first i need to make some new pictures..??
  15. Thank you for helping out with the rigged hose. It truned out nice, but i am not very happy with the pictures. I know now that not only the build of an moc but also good pictures make the model stand out. So this week i look in to that. And i dont know how to place it from here into the scale modeling subforum..
  16. I will try to make some better pictures this week. ??
  17. Just like your ships, they are amazing. But this is also stunning. keep it up Edwin, and maybe sometime you will build a ship in a reasonable size. And then offcorse for all of us with instructions and a partslist..
  18. I used the core of a hard sollid electric cable. Did it in the rigged hose and bend it in the shape i wanted it. It whas told to me how to do that by Edwin Korstanje.. It is in a display case in the livingroom..???
  19. Same size, but build out of bricks instead of technic elements. And yes it is the long version. I am dutch, i think you can see that, by the grammer of my post.???

TLG is a worldwide company with very high quality standards. But sometimes, you are lucky to get a part who slipt true the quality control and will come on the market. Look at the picture below, and you see that i am one of the very few owners of a production error. I think its nice to have sutch item in your collection.
  21. The 10220 i have yet to build ( again ), but i have a picture of the 2 axle caravan. The caravan is the same size as the 10220 t1 van. So you have idea of the size of my moc. And i dont know if it should be in the scalemodeling forum. I will read the rules of that forum comming week to find out.. To make the chassis with technic beams ( not the old style bricks ) whas a challenge. It took al lot of attempts to make the connection with technic beams and normal bricks.. Finaly it succeeded.
  22. Thank you, i like it also. It whasend easy, but i am proud of the end result??
  23. Hello Memers, I have build a big VW t1 Out of 90% normal bricks, and 10% new technic. The van has RC driving and steering. In the front headlights, there are legfo led's The size is Lenght 53 cm, With 22 cm, Height 18 cm and weight 4,2 kg. I dont know the building time, because i have build the moc over a few months a few hours every week. I started with the chassis out of technic beams, and go from there. Build and taking it apart untill i had the shape i wanted. The chrome pieces are origional lego chromed bricks and parts. Chromed by a factory witch is specialized in chroming plastics.. I would like to say thanks to Edwin Korstanje, for his advise how to bend the rigged hose in the right shape, and to Jaap Technic for making the stickers. Hope you like it. feel free to comment. Some new pictures.
