  1. The thunder dragon is my favourite of the wave, but it looks a bit skimpy. I would much rather have a more detailed and beefier dragon than 2 sidebuilds.
  2. Sounds similar to the aftermarket here in Canada as well, usually see Forestman HO listed for CAD$40-60 which is around that ballpark of 32 pounds.
  3. How so? The sets have higher markups than licensed sets. Original themes are supposed to be cheaper relative to licensed sets, but it's clear Lego is frontloading the costs of a new theme, i.e. R&D and marketing onto the first wave rather than spreading out the costs over the lifetime of the product line.
  4. I need to resell my Forestman Hideout GWP so I'm hoping classic castle continues to thrive LOL.
  5. Just saw the product line and pricing... I don't see this theme having much longevity. The markup on pricing is more than licensed sets.
  6. I should've caveat with AI can design better concepts for Lego sets currently, that said, the tech is advancing so rapidly. I wouldn't be surprised if Lego hasn't already partnered with an AI company and are working on importing their entire library parts along with all technical specs into a learning model. Another "unpopular" opinion, the new Dreamzzz theme will die a very quick death. The designs, concepts, and story are really underbaked and could've used a significant amount of more refining, it's undoubtedly a rushed release. This is also combined with poor pricing, original themes are supposed to cheaper relative to licensed sets, however, Lego decided to frontload all the R&D and marketing costs onto the first wave rather than spread it out over the lifetime of the product line. Dreamzzz will be a guaranteed failure with a short lifetime. I wouldn't be surprised if it dies faster than Hiddenside.
  7. Nowhere did I say it was the forum's responsibility, if I did I would've started quoting all the people praising the Spiderman and Antman buildable figures which there are many.
  8. AI can design better Lego sets than actual designers.
  9. Quoting myself from back in February... the suffering continues. There needs to be a collective effort to stop this madness: influencers/reviewers need to neg the sets which objectively should be easy as they are atrociously designed. Secondly people need to stop buying it, these buildable figures are poor value for money.
  10. Personally, I don't care about NWH anymore... it's way too late. Time to start focusing and releasing Spiderverse 2 sets. Need a Spiderman 2099 reprint ASAP.
  11. Kind of sad, I'm way more excited for the Ashoka sets than any upcoming Marvel set... and I don't even collect Lego Starwars anymore.
  12. Yeah I'm definitely holding out hope that Adam Warlock gets reprinted... that set overall is an absolute disaster in design.
  13. What are the chances, we're going to get a remake of this set again?
  14. Don't forget cancer.
  15. Oof the new UCS X-Wing is not impressive at all... in some areas it even looks worse than the 2013 version.
  16. CMF will be the premium version, while the set version will be the downgrade similar to CMF Wanda/Scarlet Witch vs. Sanctum Wanda. Not sure why they chose to put Wolverine again... instead of a premium version of Cyclops who could really use a unique mold for the visor/head... sad.
  17. This topic is the definition of insanity... damp cloth or wet wipe is more than enough and won't damage the box at all. Also, people suggesting canned/compressed "air", stop it. It's bad for the environment and bad for your health.

Lol thought the same... looks like Putler. Maybe it's him after getting hit with a tank shell.
  19. So true, imagine people asking for generic minifigs that they can easily make out of their own collection to take up valuable CMF minifig slots. These people are basically asking for boring figures like Monica Rambeau to take up the majority of the CMF roster. For the record, I do want more What-If characters to take up more slots, i.e. Supreme Strange, Ultimate Ultron, and I like Kahhori's design hope she gets her own minifig.
  20. Not a good sign with Lego's noticeably worst quality control... I literally had to grab my knife to shave off excess plastic around the injection molds on some pieces on a recent new set. Ultimately Lego has an incentive to ban people from replacement parts, as it's probably a significant expense requiring high shipping costs and expensive labour since it's not done by machines. Lego saves costs by cutting down on quality control and banning people from ordering replacement parts... it's a win-win for the company.
  21. Wow i'm very impressed! I never played Genshin Impact, but still looks like a great set. What Lego Ideas finalizes as sets... never ceases to disappoint me
  22. Lego needs to move their design HQ to Korea.
  23. Better off just getting a job... You need to invest in a good camera, microphone, lighting, learn how to script and edit, etc. to make good content on Yotuube.
  24. Hehe I really like the Bugle, Sanctum, Benatar, New Asgard, and Marvel CMFs At the time... I was thinking Lego Marvel doesn't miss and the high quality sets would just keep on continuing.
  25. Is Hogwarts Legacy canon? I haven't played it but I've read it wasn't a game with a strong narrative/story... more of Ubisoft style open world game. Maybe I was a bit harsh on the theme. It's unfair to say there was no innovation, as the wands like you pointed out were a really innovative piece, and they do have some innovative sets like the HP Icons set, movable Hedwig/Phoenix/Horntail sets. The "modular" style of the castle room sets is a very tired concept but they managed to freshen it up a bit with the newest Room of Requirement set.
