Dafgek81 replied to Lucio Switch's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHello Lucio, I asume the instructions are ready then? Where can I get them? And another question, I see there are three batteryboxes on this massive beast, how long can you play with it till they are going dead? And what kind off batteries do you use, I know it needs AA's

Alternative parts
Dafgek81 replied to Dafgek81's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAnd another question, along side of the chassis beam between the rear axles there is a pneumatic cylinder, the ram is facing forward. Where does it connect to? Maybe one off the Ldraw whizzkids can give me an answer, or update the excisting Ldraw files from the Actros...

Kenworth
Dafgek81 replied to Dafgek81's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHello Efferman, that is a nice one to, but I was realy revering to the light blue one on Brickshelf even not being the original one, I realy like it. A towtruck is to much parts and costs for me.

[C-MODEL] 42009 Heavy Duty Forklift
Dafgek81 replied to Dalafik's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingWOW what a cool model. Did not want to buy 42009, because I only want to collect MOC's from now on. But I will have to make an exception to build this massive machine.

A technic lubrication question....
Dafgek81 replied to marvinblue's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSo I could use a silicone based lubricant to lubricate my older pneumatic cylinders? Have an old 8868 and 8862 set with rather stiff pneumatics. But could I use it on new ones to keep them smooth??

Dafgek81 replied to Dafgek81's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThank you Jeroen, that was very helpfull, will try and use it next time. Hope someone has an alternative part in mind, one that has not got that weird bump sticking out. Real inlets are flat.

Alternative parts
Dafgek81 replied to Dafgek81's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI tried before, but I don't know how to get a LDraw file uploaded. Sorry if I ain't an expert builder like you. And I am not a computer wizzkid, I am just a truckdriver that wants to collect Lego and likes to build MOC's that you guys post and make instructions for. A lot of others have posted questions about parts by only posting a number off it and the partsdocters on this forum can give options by only knowing the number of the part to replace. But sorry for the inteription of your forum. I'll leave it be.

Alternative parts
Hello guys, I a curently saving for parts to built the old skool model from brickforge.de, the MB Acro 4150K side tippertruck with crane. There are two parts used in the air-intake behind the cabin, but I don't realy like them. The number of these parts is #32310, does anyone have an alternative for them?

Kenworth
Dafgek81 replied to Dafgek81's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYes I saw that, but it was a very old folder from the original. And I don't know all the builders in the world. And yes I use Google, but did not think about that this time. But I will send his a message.

Kenworth
http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=547192 Saw this amazing Kenworth on Brickshelf, does anyone know the builder or does anyone have the intension to build one? And I would realy love to see a model of a Daf XF 105 Super Spacecab 6x4 (P.F.) I ain't a expert builder, so I will need a partslist and instructions.

[MOC] Customized Forklift
Dafgek81 replied to KevinMoo's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingLike what I see, would indeed put double wheels in the front. And I don't know why it has rear wheel drive, real forklifts use fronwheel or all wheel drive. But mabe I am wrong.

[C-MODEL] 42009 Flatbed Tow Truck
Dafgek81 replied to MrTekneex's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAbout the double wheels on the rear axles, shame they would not fit, maybe you will find s solution in the future. I am a trucker myself and love realism in the models, that is why I did not build my 8258 cranetruck intil I got the parts to modify it to double wheels on the rear axles. So I will wait until there is an double wheeled mod. Otherwise it's a beauty!!!

Bricklink
Ok very nice, but the problem is, the program stoppes calculating and I don’t get any result on my queries. And all the parts are needed, I want to order the parts I need to build a model with. How must I set that stupid searchprogram so iit will work. And if I don’t use that, how can I set my settings on Bricklink to find the best shops to buy the most parts the cheapest at a minimal amount off shops in the Netherlands. Does anyone have favourite shops in my counrty that are resonable in there prices and have almost every part needed fora n older type Technic/Modeteam MOC? I am not so good with those programs. Or maybe someone in the Netherlands would like to show me sometime how it Works?

[C-MODEL] 42009 Flatbed Tow Truck
Dafgek81 replied to MrTekneex's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI would recomend using the four left over wheels to make the rearaxle double wheeled, would look more realistic. This is a flaw in the designes made by TLG. The rest looks awesome!!! Looking forward to the instructions!!!

Bricklink
I have a list and tried to calculate the cheapest combination to find and buy the parts. Brickeficiency calcuates, says there are 529 stors in my country that sell most of the parts, gives a few errors and calculation s cancelled or stopped. What next, I do not have a clue?????

Bricklink
I have installed the Brickficiency program on my laptop, but I can not open the partslist from the Actros 8x4 tippertruck with crane from the brickforge.de page. Says it has an error, part P. id 298 colour 11. Do not know what it means. Help??? Can't get it to run any partslist, only getting item errors and nothing else, not a single piece.
