Hello, Has anyone recently had success on steindrucker taking order or responding to Emails? I have known of several attempts and there is no response to email inquiries. Is he even still printing figure orders or is it the location that he is avoiding. I really think it would be more professional and polite to respond to email whether negative or positive for the project. I have also noticed several other print places that don't even bother to respond. A couple have which was nice. Is this common with no replies, I would be afraid to use Steindrucker website to order without first making contact if the project can be done and the amount of backlog before completion.

There is a new site I just found called mocbuilder It looks like its just started but it seems to be only for Lego, maybe this will workout. I think we should all support him, flickr has too much other junk on it imo.

Project: Aliens - Colonial Marines

Well check this xenomorph out from China, you can't beat the way it looks or the price! They have a Predator also! https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Single-Super-Hero-Movie-Series-Alien-vs-Predator-Godzilla-Giant-Monster-figure-building-blocks-model-bricks/32844780311.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.59.50f47812x2n3rt&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_3_10152_10151_10065_10344_10130_10068_10324_10342_10547_10325_10546_10343_10340_10548_10341_10545_10696_10084_10083_10618_10307_10313_10059_10534_100031_10103_10624_10623_10622_10621_10620_10810_10811,searchweb201603_25,ppcSwitch_7&algo_expid=42bae932-1fe9-4db9-b3d2-6d0feab8e550-7&algo_pvid=42bae932-1fe9-4db9-b3d2-6d0feab8e550&priceBeautifyAB=0 -

What would you like for the next Castle line?
firefly101 replied to Robert8's topic in LEGO Historic Themes
I personally would love to see a continuation of the Kingdoms theme, with the Black Falcons, Forestmen, wolfpack and Bulls making a return. I think a Nice well built classic Castle line would be a nice break from all this Super hero, comic book, fantasy stuff. Sometime its gotta to end.... -
Try AliExpress its like Ebay but only for China. You can get those Gamorreans for 60 cents each. That's how I done it.

Thanks, I like that Human Brick Model in your post! I was thinking of Wargs at first, but the Boars seem to fit so much better and are cheaper and not preformed. People forget Warg legs don't move either. lol
-
Lego doesn't seem to have much selection on Ball joint pieces. I thought of some other ways to make them movable, but none would look good because of the color or use of plates. Maybe later Lego will make pieces that could be used for legs or maybe someone here will play around and see if it can be improved on then post. Most of my Lego is for Building Castles bought on bricklink, so I don't have all those odd and end pieces. When I first seen this model a few months ago I thought it looked the most like a pig, but I felt it was too Blocky, the adjustments are to make it more realistic as is possible with bricks. lol I would love to see Lego make Brown tiles for the ears, I had to use Dark Orange and I had to use Old BROWN for some of the tiles, Lego never made those pieces in Reddish Brown. The cost for one of them on Bricklink for parts is about $6 if you use Black on a couple of those tiles its about $3.50 each Boar.

Hello, I came across as similar design that has been abandon for a while, it was made quite a few years ago and many new pieces are available. So I Decided to Improve upon the design and make the War Hog look better. I will include an old picture of the original looked like and of course the new version. I think the improvements are very good, I wanted to post this so Others can Enjoy this Warhog as the original had no details about the parts etc. I wanted to provide others details of the parts needed to make them. I have personally made 12 for my Orc Army. I hope others will enjoy the design. All the Gamorreans in my army are from CHINA and PG79 is the code I bought them on AliExpress. And while they are NOT lego quality, they are perfect for the amount of numbers I needed. They work very good for cheaper clones, but the quality is not the same and they use the same plastic for the hands. But I was surprised at how well these turned out they cost me around 60 cents each one! So I was able to make my Orc and Troll Army.

https://de-de.facebook.com/Steindrucker does a great job I had a pile of torsos made, but large orders are little more for him, so your smaller order should be perfect!

Green Dragon wings and head moddable?
firefly101 replied to firefly101's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Problem with Paint is the smell and Flaking off. The only paint I found to work on anything is Duracoat and Automotive paint both expensive and would be hard to match the color. The eraser works pretty easy, you just keep rubbing and it removes it pretty quick, but it will take a while since its a big dragon. lol If the Head comes apart and is not glued It would make Removing the Silver easier even. I did think of your suggestion, but it has its own problems, I even thought of another head.... -
Green Dragon wings and head moddable?
firefly101 replied to firefly101's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I modified through photoshop this picture to see what the head would look like if the Silver was removed, it doesn't look bad and probably would look better in person. One good thing is the armor can look like scale plates? -
Hello, I ordered the Green Fantasy Dragon that has the Armor. Reason is I like Green dragons over red, mainly because that is what I think of when I think of what a Dragon would look like. But it has Armor on it. Now I noticed that the Armor on the head looks somewhat removable? It looks like the head is 3 Pieces minus the Jaw. The ball Joint the Back and front part of the head. I wonder what the from looks like without the armor on it? If bad my only option is to erase the Silver off of the armor and imagine they are hardened scales. lol Erasing seems to be easy using a polishing eraser from swords and knives. It does put a dull none shine on the plastic but does good atleast on the torsos I have done. Second question is the WINGS. Is the Gold actual plastic or is it painted on? That would help to find out if it can be removed or not. Last anyone know a good polishing method for Plastic after the Silk Screening is erased? I included a picture I got off the internet to show what I noticed. I original thought it was one piece but its obviously 2 pieces most likely die to the printing process of the eyes and the armor.

New Decals for Castle torso's
firefly101 replied to firefly101's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
Personally I don't mind if he uses anything of mine, I think its good others get a chance to use them on their Legos. I don't think we should be too worried about property rights on Art for Lego unless we sell the stuff ourselves. I really would prefer someone to offer things like the stickers as it would have saved me a lot of money and time! -
