Amen!.. I also remember how I felt when i made 8043 the first time, with the switch gear and aaaaaalll those gears... I was awestruck by the design and compexity !

Well i Think it's Hard to choose wich is better of 8043 and 42009.. I have them both, build as Juergens Ultimates and they are both pretty damn impressive! But as the crane is Hard to build and very very complicated, it Doesn't do much else than lift stuff.. Impressive as it is, i find it relatively boring over time.. i would'nt miss it, but the ultimate 8043 is just more fun when upgraded to actually being able to dig something! :) If you dig something Like bird seeds or beans, the next Challenge you will meet is getting a proper truck or dumper to load your material into :) Having a pair of construction vehicles to dig with, is just more fun than a crane.. That's why I prefer the 8043 the most.. :)

HELP i need somebody HELP not just anybody. :D But someone who can explain to me, how to acquire LDD (or similar) LEGO program to plan my MOCs and to view Nicajsnos (?) great Rebuild of the 8110 front axle. (Watched his build on YT GREAT)!! Are ALL bricks om the program? Shall I download new bricks, or will the system update itself? Is it expensive ? Make up more relevant questions yourselves and please anser a Technic(ally challenged) member.. :)

Went to see in great expectation of a 42043 Imitation, but then it was the crawler crane.. Nonetheless impressed anyways!... Great build!

Wauw soo inspiring, reading your stories.. Telling me I am not the only 34 year old playing with LEGO.. Born in 1980, played with LEGO through the 80's Applying for job with LEGO in Billund in 1990, :) recieving a nice letter to apply again when I grew older.. :) My last set was 8880 in '94. Then, there it was! In 2003 i saw the 8455 in a shop. I never had pneumatics before, and i was in love with that complexity. 8455 still stands as a milestone to me... I went back to the Dark ages, but never disassembled 8455. Then in 2010 I Got the 8275 from a relative, Working with LEGO in Billund, and I was hooked. The combination of pneumatics and PF Got me! I watched Zblj's bulldozer on YT at that time and also discovered Sariel and was immensely inspired! I have veen buying the flagship each year ever since, MODing them all with PF Then I discovered BRicklink and now it's spiralling! When I saw the video of the arocs, 42043 I had to share my enthusiasm with someone, and made a profile here on eurobricks two weeks ago... Been stalking in here for years... Cheers!

So now, that we've established an inline6 engine, will it also feature 8x8 drive for all you purists ?

Geez, 300 $. !? Really ought to have stockpiled 8110 when it was on sale a while back... :) I get the flagship every year, that's all, mod it a bit, playing with it and saving them till my children grows old enough to benefit.. I was SO excited when i first saw 8110, havent Really felt that until seeing this Arocs :)
