LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
It seems like printing on some red "boots" would've helped this minifigure at least a tad. With only 3 figures in a $40 set it seems like they could've afforded it..

Hulk promo minifigure for May 16-31
I was having this issue too, but try refreshing; it's in my cart now :) Also, the Lord of the Rings sets are available to the US now for anyone needing a little boost to get The Hulk.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
True, but kids probably wouldn't know the difference between the two. "Real" and ficticious alcohol and drugs are both just a weird liquid in a glass to them. Besides, LEGO's already gone far enough to imply rum/whiskey bottles in the POTC sets (http://www.bricklink...tem.asp?P=95228), so I don't think they'd be too concerned about a couple casual, easily forgettable sips in TDK, especially since they wouldn't even be present in sets. EDIT: Sorry, Cornelius. I was typing while you replied :x On an unrelated note, I'm not a huge Marvel fan, but the Captain America set'll definitely be worth picking up, especially if it comes with Red Skull. I'm also interested in the Spiderman set, but I'll have to see it before I decide whether to invest in it or not, though.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
Drugs/alchohol are present at about equal strength in the Star Wars films (Jabba's hookah, various pipes, bars, etc), as is graphic violence, almost to a stronger degree than in TDK (severed limbs--some exposing blood--and exposed bowels, entities being killed/eaten alive, etc). As for language- true, it's present in TDK, but it's surprisingly barely there. Kids hear far worse on a daily basis in schools these days If you look close enough, you can pick out plenty of potentially troubling aspects in any of the movies that've been turned into sets. Anything that's not completely obscene--including Nolan's Batfilms--are fair game.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 6 Discussion
Series 6 finally hit VA! I used a $17 TRU credit and $6 in rewards to mostly pay for two Statue of Liberties, a Genie, Surgeon, Leprechaun, Alien, Pajama Kid, and Robot. I love them all! I just wish $4 of my rewards hadn't been eaten up by the infamous TRU tax. Ah well, only paying ~$5 for 8 new minifigures still isn't bad!

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
Oddly enough the cover depicts the 2006/08 Freeze, so I'm guessing he was just being used to fill space. But they could've placed another modern Minifigure (like The Riddler) there instead. Either this is supposed to be a hint at future sets or a slip-up on the part of the artist. I'm leaning towards the latter.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
I've opened the Funhouse, Batwing, Catwoman, and Two-Face sets over the past few days. They're all pretty amazing sets, especially the Minifgures! My favorite is definitely the Funhouse. It really radiates an Arkham City/Sionis Industries feel: My only complaint about this line is I've run into several cases of poor printing, mainly on Minifig heads. My Catwoman has a sploch on her teeth on her goggle face, there's a lot of sploching and smearing on my Joker henchman's face as well as some colors bleeding out of place on his back print, along with a couple other problems on some other Minifigs. Those complaints are really just me being knitpicky though, but has anyone else had this problem?

Future Superhero Set Ideas
I really like these ideas! Especially the Riddler lair, Arkham Breakout, and Advent Calendar. Of the three, an Arkham set is most likely and I'd love to see it set up as a breakout. Perhaps they could borrow from Knightfall and have it orchestrated by Bane. It'd work for TLG as they tend to like recycling Minifigures in licensed themes.

Monster Fighters 2012
Hmm, well monsters and the like are always a hit with boys. And even if they do reuse the CMF's, a lot of kids probably don't own these specific characters, if at all, so that would be another incentive for them to buy into the line. As for me, the line certainly looks cool and creative as a whole, but having purchased the older Studios sets and the CMF's there's nothing really new here for me. I'll definitely be getting the swamp monster set though, and the ghost train would be nice to grab in a clearance sale.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
I agree! I'm hoping they decide to include Ledger's Joker in one set even though he's from the last movie. They'd definitely make a large profit off of whatever set he was in, though I suspect the focus will be on the newer movie if we do get Nolanverse sets

REVIEW: 6863 Batwing Battle Over Gotham City
Thanks for the great review! It made me a lot more confident in having purchased the set at the TRU price. As Oky stated though, I am disappointed by these sets' exclusion of guns and other weaponry for the characters (aside from one or two batarangs). I feel like this is ignoring a major aspect of the Batman franchise. Oh well, Bricklink exists for a reason..

LOTR & The Hobbit 2012
I'll admit I'm not into the LOTR/Hobbit franchise, but I might pick up a couple of the smaller sets if they look interesting; the promo pic definitely caught my fancy. I look forward to seeing pictures!

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
Good luck! Mine just arrived! I'm resisting opening anything until Christmas, but here's a brief rundown of the Funhouse box as I don't think it's been discussed: It's the same size as Batwing Battle's box, but with 102 more pieces inside it buldges slightly, making you feel like all of The Joker's chaos is about to pop out of the box The back has the same "comic book panels" layout as the other sets in the line. Its images/artwork look like the same ones we've seen before. Also, assuming the box graphics are correct, I can confirm that we do get the 2006/2007 version of Riddler's face print, along with another of his new bowler hats in the Riddle booth.

LEGO Superheroes 2012 Rumours & Discussion
My Catwoman, Two-Face, and Funhouse sets shipped on the 14th and I got a confirmation today. According to FedEx tracking, they're supposed to arrive tomorrow..? I'm not getting my hopes up though.
