First set was Battering Ram (6062). The Camouflaged Outpost (6066) came soon thereafter. I collected mainly Castle and Pirate themes in the late 80s and early 90s. I had a short interest in Town/City themes before my Dark Ages.
The modular series and revamped City theme got me collecting again. Since then, I have also been impressed with the CMF and Elves series.
I am assembling a city of my own - a combination of the modular buildings and some similarly styled MOCs. I am also working on ways to integrate some older sets into this new city. You can view my progress at monkersburg.wordpress.com
