  1. They jointly hold the trademark to the term “super heroes.”
  2. PayPal checkout seems to be broken, FYI. Had to use a credit card to submit the order.
  3. My gut tells me that the character selection will be similar to the Disney CMFs, where they'll be loosely paired up. We know we'll get a Green Lantern (Baz) and Sinestro... I doubt we'll see a third Lantern of any color in the same series. Obviously having the lantern mold opens the door to all sorts of options in upcoming sets, though.
  4. Does it seem like things might be a little rocky with the DC license? There's that Shazam! polybag that's floating around in the wild, but it hasn't been officially released. Then the D2C seems like it's been pushed back, and now we're finding out that there won't be a winter wave of sets. The latest wave of bat-sets started seeing 10-20% discounts within a few weeks of release, and I still see a ton of them on shelves. And LEGO specifically called out Avengers sets but not the Super Heroes theme as a whole as a strong performer in their latest earnings report. I know that LEGO and WB have a very strong working relationship, especially on ancillary products like films and home movies. But I'm starting to get the sense that LEGO might be taking their foot off the gas as far as DC sets. Maybe I'm reading too much into it.
  5. The only place I’ve read that is BrickFan, which often reports inaccurate information (and then goes back and edits posts to remove it without acknowledging it). Have you got a second source for the CMF rumor?
  6. To be fair, we were saying that about Endgame sets until about two days ago.
  7. This ^^ I'm sure that Lego would like to have infinite manufacturing and distribution capabilities so that they could instantaneously and simultaneously fulfill worldwide demand, but they don't.
  8. They did put a limit on them. I bought up to the limit.
  9. I was able to order 4 just before I shared the link. I must have gotten in just before the stock ran out.
  10. The Brick Fan is saying that the Bricktober pack is back in stock online at Barnes & Noble in the U.S.: https://www.thebrickfan.com/lego-harry-potter-bricktober-2018-5005254-back-in-stock-at-barnes-noble/
  11. You realize that LEGO can't just produce any Marvel Super Heroes set that they want, right? That's not even remotely how licensed products work.
  12. Seconded - this is some really top-notch modding!
  13. “Except for being wrong about everything, we were actually right about the rest of it.”
  14. Yup, it totally is the Junior Woodchucks guide book!
