Finally ordered the UCS MF. Plan to use the double points toward the new UCS Y wing and get a second BB8 too. Unfortunately the points aren't showing up on my account yet.

Check out the instructions for Ninjago City. They layered trans blue tiles over black, dark green and medium green plates to create the illusion of different water depths. it looks very slick.

I may have to invest in some boat hull sections. I would love to do a Viking ship using this. Should be fairly simple convert the mechanism to multiple oars per side.

This is just a beautiful MOC. Great proportions and color choices. I've always liked the T65 better but this T70 is brilliant. You can add me to the list of folks interested in purchasing instructions.

Wow! That's a beautiful MOC of my favorite ship from Rogue1. Looks like there would be plenty of room inside add motorization to the wings and maybe landing gear.

I think your problem is that you have some non Lego pieces mixed in there. You notice that some of the pink bricks don't have the Lego logo on top of the studs? The look like mega blocks or some other inferior brick.

This is without a doubt my favorite X wing MOC ever. Very nice job. I'd love to take a crack at building it.

Thanks for the tip on Lego customer service. I wouldn't expect a free replacement but I've heard Lego is very generous. Those cats drive me crazy. The will sit by my table and wait for me to drop something then swoop in and grab it. It's like a race to see who can find it first. I think since I'm going to have to replace the hose I will go ahead and order all the parts to change the cab color. I'm not crazy about the white. I'm thinking blue or orange.

I'm really likening this model. I do have a problem. I finished through bag three. I left the model sitting on the kitchen table overnight and my wife's cat chewed about two inches off of the long blue tube that runs from the pump to the crane. I tried rerouting it but there's just not enough length to connect to the crane. Anyone know where I can get a replacement hose? I didn't find it on brick link.

That is an incredible piece of engineering. Form and function in one perfect package. I tip my hat to you sir.

I recieved my UCS slave 1 yesterday. This is my first Star Wars set. I Usually only build technic models but I've always loved this ship. I Stayed up late putting it together. What a beautiful model. It is much larger than I had envisioned. I'm not really into mini figs but I have to say that Boba Fett is pretty nicely done. Overall it's a very nice build and I enjoyed the building techniques. My only critique is that the side panels could have better attachments. Has anyone added LED lighting? I'm thinking about lighting the engines and cockpit.
