  1. Thanks for the new picture, Darth Jar Jar! This set gets better every time I see a new picture, but it's still too expensive (27 € ).
  2. Emperor replied to illspace's post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
It's down to 179 $ by now - but I don't think they ship to Germany
  3. Well, the piece count of the shuttle is confirmed, then I really like the fact that Luminara's legs are printed; her face is great, it doesn't look too much like it's from CW...
  4. I don't think the piece count of the Jedi Shuttle is a mistake... The parts of the shuttle are very big, the shuttle would be far too big if it contained more than 400 pieces. The new molds of the new Jedi is probably very expensive, too. I can't wait to get the Clone Battle Pack. Every fig is awesome, especially the Commando; the green printing is just perfect According to amazon the sets will be released in February (in Germany, at least), so probably I'll have to get them from a dutch shop... I don't want to wait 2 months
  5. It would be very nice if we got pics in December, but I don't think it is very likely - last year was an exception, so I'm afraid we'll have to wait at least until January. This year, we got the list in November; is this earlier than usual or is it normal to get infos (with out pics, though) at this time of the year? Correct
  6. Thanks for the high res pics, nrg! I guess he means the 2009 AAT, the one with Yoda. No. It turned out to be a fake.
  7. I don't really like the Clone Walker, the parts are great for MOCs, but the design is really bad in my opinion. The Imperial Dropship is awful, too. Anyway, I didn't say I don't like them, mostly I just don't care about the few bricks included; that's why the Ice Cutter was so surpising; I found the design awful when I first saw pics of it, but so far it has been my favorite Battle Pack vehicle.
  8. Well, I was surprised by the Rebel Trooper Battle Pack. I bought the set to get the figs, but the Ice Cutter turned out to be quite well designed and looks much better than I thought it would. Besides Battle Packs, I never received a set I don't like; but maybe that's because I like nearly every set, as long as it's Star Wars
  9. Come on, please stop talking about Jordan. He promised pictures, he said his grandfather's job would be in no danger, but still he didn't manage to give pics... It was fun to discuss his "information" as long as he still had some credibility; he failed to proove that he has the sets, so the whole Jordan thing is over. I don't think they will use a new headpiece for Anakin; the last one was pretty accurate: http://www.scificool.com/images/2009/07/anakin-skywalker-jake-lloyd.jpg http://www.rarebricks.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/star-wars-lego-minifigures.jpg I think they will change the head, TLG seems to hate eyes without white reflection/"pupils"... I hope Sebulba will have moveable legs and arms; I don't think a good Sebulba mini fig is possible without very piece of his body being a new mold. I don't think there are any pieces at which could be used for him, so I'm afraid because of the new mold(s) 10 pieces will be much more expensive than 1 €
  10. Wow, thank you ever so much! You just save christmas! Stardusty: I don't think they would make 2 new pieces(a new head and a new hood), I think a head with a hairpiece(only instead of hair there are horns) would be much more logical, as the normal hood still would fit.
  11. Is this true for European countries(such as Germany ), too? It would be great to be able to buy 2011 sets for christmas without having to order from the netherlands... Anyway, why do the shops release the sets too early? Are they "allowed" to do it or don't they know the sets are supposed to be released in January?
  12. Well, I don't think Dooku will be in this set; it is far to small to contain more than 1 more or less exclusive fig. I think a Savage Opress fig is very probable; as I hope that DM gets a new head mold, it would be perfect for TLG if they could use the same new mould in 2 sets. A Nightsister is very probable too, I think this set will be exactly like the Freeco Speeder (1 exclusive and a native fig). Have the past January sets shown up earlier than expected in other countries than France, too? The Pharao's Quest sets, for instance, are already available; does this happen to the SW sets as well?
  13. I wouldn't believe Jordan, at least not at the moment; so don't get too exited about the Padme/Malevolence, there is no, absolutely NO proof at all they will be released. Jordan promised to make a picture until this Sunday, so unless he does manage to give us a pic in the few hours remaining everything he said is proven wrong. I think it is probable that we get a new Padme some day, but I don't think we'll get her this year.
  14. Well, the existing Darth Maul figs have printing; so a new one would have to be a new mold with horns. I would prefer a normal Darth Maul head with a horn-headpiece, just like Shaak Ti or Ashoka; this way he could still war a hood.
  15. Well, the Midi and the UCS Falcons were much more accurate than the 2004 one, so I think the 2011 one will have a design similar to the Midid/UCS Falcon; therefore it would be much more accurate, too. The 2004 one wasn't accurate at all, it was far too blocky and not very detailed.
  16. In Germany we have to pay 30 € for the BoN and 70€ for the Shuttle, but that's no surprise 1 Euro is worth about 1.3 $, buying the BoN in the US would cost about 19 €, the Shuttle would be 45 €; why do we have to pay so much more in Germany? At least the shuttle's price should have been reduced as well.
  17. The sphinx looks really nice; the box is far too big, but you get a decent amount of pieces in wonderful colors (dark blue, (dark)tan, gold), so I have no problem with that. The head of the sphinx is beautiful indeed, the body is a bit blocky but it is good that you can move the legs so much. I'm a bit disappointed that there isn't any special fig in this set, nearly every other set has a special fig... Masked Builder, when can we expect your Duel in the Air review? I just can't wait to see it; the only set that hasn't been reviewed yet is the one I like best
  18. Great news! Thank you, Flare/Masked Builder! Does anybody have the Anub Sphinx? It's my favorite set after the Flying Mummy Attack, so a review would be much appreciated I just love all the tan/dark tan pieces, you can't get enough of them...
  19. Sorry, I didn't mean to be rude or offend you; sometimes I forget how difficult it is to get all the information out of the 5+ pages a day. Anayway, except for the Frigate you are correct
  20. Why do you think we don't get the frigate? We even have details such as which ship it is (it's a Consular Class) and which figs it contains (Yoda, 3 Clones with red marks, 2 pilots,1 officer).
  21. Could you make a review? This is my favorite set, but it isn't available in Germany
  22. Actually it was, at least officially it is UCS. That's how I suppose the Malovolence will be, fewer figs and fewer pieces but still very big. Does the train take up most the space or is it just a small addition? How big is it anyway (it would be nice if Jordan compared it to some other sets, so we get a rough idea how it looks like)?
  23. Well, we can't trust him at the moment, because right now there is no proof. Jordan promised to give us a picture this week, so this Sunday we'll know for sure wether he is right or not. It makes sense at least, the new clones are quite probable after all the normal ones we got over the last years, Jar Jar in another set is possible too; his fig is so great that putting it in more than 1 set is absolutely logical. The figs of the Malovolence sound a bit like a wish list, but the Death Star also contained more than 20 figs, so as long as it is an UCS, I have no problems assuming it is true (until Sunday, if there is no pic by then, you may ignore all my posts ) The upcoming Clone Battle Pack shows that TLG is very good at making "special" clones, I know many people don't like the Bomb Squads, but at the very least they are very accurate. E: Yay, 100 posts
  24. True. Especially the Malovolence, though I think that's because it is probably UCS. Well, for the moment, I believe Jordan, if he is wrong, I won't be that disappointed, if he is right, I can say I always believed in him
  25. Yeah, but the CW Padme looks really plain, while the Naboo-queen Padme looks great... I just hope the pic he will probably give us is the Malovolence; it must be huuuge if it costs 350 $. The Padme set would represent her visit on Rodia(which is strange, since it's the first season); does anybody have a picture of her ship?
