I’d love to see an Porsche 911 of the older generation to be modelled as a CE car. My hopes aren’t at a T Ford though.

I have owned a '72 Fiat 500. Hoping to be able to change the color to Dark Blue / Tan as this was the color of my Fiat 500. Love the model, and looking forward to the release. What is the expected release date?

Hm I’ll buy the Charger, however still hoping for an old 911.

I sincerely hope that the Creator Expert series will not change to the F&F sets. I've built the Mustang set, however not in hotrod spec. I'd love to see a 911 Carrera in the Creator Expert series in the style of the VW Beetle and the Ferrari F40. Changing scenes to more 'modified' cars is not of my liking.

Just noticed. I cocked up :P

In subsep 6 you are required to place a 4 tiles slope. This item is not included in the parts list in the upper left corner. Also, the item is not included in the parts list in the end of the manual.

Sadly I must say that my received set (retail) also included the booklet without plastic wrapping. And thus it was also bent :/ Furthermore there is an error on page 39 (step 60) of the manual. A three dots slope item is to be included in the build and is not included in the required items. Also not in bag labeled one. The item is also not included in the parts list on one of the final pages of the manual.

Ordered mine on 1 June 2016 round about 11.30. Just received the notice that the set has been shipped.

The webshop dates the Beetle as available as of August 1st. Will there be a VIP early access? Hope so.

Well I must say that the new beetle is more in line with the F40 and the Mini Cooper. Furthermore, I came from the dark ages after the T1 was released and never had the chance to purchase the 'old' beetle for a reasonable price.

I'm quite fed up with the wait. Everyone seems to have the set (although that's my feeling) and I'm still waiting for the S@H misery to finish up the good way of packing the box of parts. Useless and rubbish that's what jumps to my mind.

Will be a day-one purchase for me. My dad is also fond of the model since his first car was a VW Beetle. Brings back memories ;) Hopefully this LEGO set won't have box issues as the Porsche has (amongst other issues though...)
