  1. Or alternatively, and bear with me, the lego baby xD. But yeah, it's understandable, but their absence is just very noticeable.
  2. For Diagon Alley the nanofigures appear to be Hermione, Ron, Lavender, Ginny, Fred, George, Mr Borgin, Narcissa, Draco, Madam Malkin, Ollivander and Harry. They somehow put more effort in nano Narcissa than the regular version xD. The lineup is pretty decent, although I was kinda hoping they would find a way to do a tiny Hagrid. Also Borgin feels slightly out of place without his actual shop, then again, at first I mistook him for Tom, he can probably easily double for that. Goblins are also noticeably absent, although I don't know how they could've done them either so that's understandable.
  3. Hmmmm, don't know how I feel about the final 2 sets. For the Flying Lesson I think the exterior is absolute excellent, it looks great, it kinda feels like they combined the previous flying lesson with the 2018 Whomping Willow set. I'm sure it will look great combined with the other sets. But the interior really isn't my cup of tea. The smaller office and trophy room are fine, but the other 2 rooms feel a bit claustrophobic and very undetailed. I was hoping for all the classes to be as detailed as the potions class, which was such a huge upgrade from the one before. But both transfiguration and Charms really aren't that. Charms is even closed when displayed, I mean so was Potions, but at least there it made somewhat sense, here the arches will look awful if it has this huge brick of a class stored inside. The rooms feel more like storage containers than actual display pieces. And the figures really aren't great either, McGonagall is probably the worst one we've ever received, including the ones pre 2018, which is a huge downgrade considering the one right before it was the absolute best. The others are nothing special either, Oliver Wood is alright though. The Knight Bus is a huge disappointment. Stan no longer has printing on his hat, Padfoot still uses the old piece, which like, defeats the entire point of why many people who owned the previous one wanted this set. The build itself, while perhaps more accurate, somehow feels less than the previous one. The interior is alright, although I did really enjoy the sliding bed from the last one. The sleeping witch is a nice inclusion, but it just reuses the Flower Lady torso, and I can't spot the Shrunken Head anywhere, so if that's the trade in, I don't really think it's worth it. So far I've been collecting all the system scale sets from 2018 onwards, but I think this might become the set where I stop that.
  4. I kinda prefer the previous Charms Class over this one. Sure, this one is easier to incorporate in the Larger Hogwarts Castle and doesn't use those book covers, but other than that the build really isn't that much better, still just walls and a couple of loose decorations. Sure the new build is slightly better, but not much. At least the previous one had two rows of desks, and I highly preferred the original Flitwick. The beard, while not perfect, was much more accurate to how it appeared in the movie. And the set worries me that they are going to make way too many of those swappable sets. I want to be able to incorporate all the expansions once the full castle is build, like I was able with the other 2 Hogwarts systems, but by the looks of it we're going to end up with a bunch of loose rooms. Now the duelling club is way better. Love how you can use it in the great hall, even comes with a little fire place that I thought was really missing there (not the most amazing build, but still nice little inclusion). Great to have more opportunities to get this perfect Snape. Lockhart looks amazing. Would've preferred a cloth cape, but it looks good. Highly prefer this new face, that smile works so much better. Only a bit of a shame they appear to be dead set on using this hairpiece when such a perfect piece exists already in another colour. The wand pieces are great too to get in new colours. However that also makes me wonder why we haven't gotten more of the new Ollivander wands yet. Malfoy Manor was the perfect set to include those. Oh well.
  5. The side shown works okay for Lucius, but the backside with the gentle smile real doesn't scream Lucius Malfoy. Oh well, guess I'll have to keep using the 2011 face
  6. Lego Simpsons was actually what got me into Tapped Out. I was waiting for the Kwik-E-Mart to be revealed and really wanted to build more simpsons, so I thought why not build the town in the game. It's kinda ironic how the game comes to an end as the next set is right around the corner. I kinda came full circle. It's sad though, I'm gonna miss that town. Kinda already do, game doesn't really feel the same now that everything became pretty much free. I have the same feeling. Hopefully at the very least Springfield Elementary will get approved on lego ideas (if they didn't have one planned themselves). That's really the one building I want the most. Can imagine it would sell well, we haven't really gotten any real, highly detailed, regular schools. I'm hoping for Sideshow Bob, but Spider-Pig/Harry Plopper also has a decent chance.
  7. The Dutch one. But it appears they took down the entire page, guess it wasn't supposed to be up yet.
  8. Well Hogsmeade was connected to slytherin as well, with the Slytherin graffiti on the wall inside. Burrow makes a bit more sense as it includes pretty much every single room that could possibly be found there. It's for the kitchen, that's just Lego's way of showing they're rich and eating fancy.
  9. Somehow no one has noticed that the interior pictures of Malfoy Manor have been out. Just saw them on smyths website. The interior is pretty nice. There's the drawing room with a falling chandelier, fire place, 2 beautiful paintings and a huge table for the Deatheaters to have a meeting. There's the cellar and a kitchen. A tiny bedroom for Draco, a room with a tiny organ (reminds me of the old concept art of the canceled malfoy manor battle set), toilet (what's up with slytherin and toilets?) and finally a room with Lucius' armchair (I think it's from a promotional picture). The figures up close are pretty nice. Bellatrix appears to be having a new face print, Harry looks great as well. Lucius and Narcissa are a bit disappointing however. Previous Narcissa was much better. For Lucius I hold out a bit more hope as the face print is slightly different from last time. I'm hoping for a second face print, however it might as well be just another regular face print, hard to say.
  10. Well, Hagrid’s Motorcycle appeared in the usual place. It's truly one of the sets ever. We were this close to getting a minifigure version, but instead we get this, unique looking something. I suppose it was time for a new meme set.
  11. Spoilered? It was already available for purchase in the lego store on September 1st, if not earlier. At least in the Netherlands. There are 2 cats even, neither new though if I'm not mistaken. There's also a spooky pumpkin ghost and a Skeleton hoodie, close enough for populating a magical world xD.
  12. Issue with making him a regular figure is that he has the suit now. Knowing lego that's likely going to be a repeat torso like with the guardians. But even if slightly different, that would still make him look very much like just a guy with a stone head (Thing barely even needs a new headmold like Korg, so it could easily be a simple print as well.) At that point Thing would really look a but goofy. It would work for Spider-man and his amazing friends, but here? He's really gonna need some buff to stand out in between the other members.
  13. That would work for me, kinda like the Mr Incredible figure in the video game. Although I definitely wouldn't mind a simple bigfig either, just anything but how they did Korg, he really doesn't work for me.
  14. Oh? Never knew that, didn't have the time to build mine yet, I wonder which version I have. How long did it approximately take for them to change it? Pretty cool they changed it, although the fact it happens so often in these big sets is slightly worrying. It looks like it's a colour correction on the stickers, from Bright Light Orange (old) to Gold (new)
  15. Ugh, what's up with these misspelled stickers on the big D2C sets all the time. One would think quality control would be a little bit better on these things, definitely when it's marked as the definitive version. Looking at the Daily Bugle this will probably never get fixed, which is a shame. If they could change an entire figure in a star wars set (75188) you'd assume a simple sticker would be easy as pie. Oh well, it's upside down anyway, so it wouldn't be too noticeable I suppose.
