  1. This was really fun to make. It's no masterpiece or anything, but Id love to hear what you think.
  2. nice! Here's what I did with my mini X-Wing...
  3. I would really like to see a UCS Speeder bike.
  4. Tie between Snowspeeder and Speeder bike. Especially after the Shadows Of The Empire game (N64) Speeder bike level. Super Nostalgic! This is a Snowspeeder build with a pretty good skit.
  5. Lego Chuck Norris Facts - Animated Video Here is a short I threw together. Love to hear what you thought!
  6. I just rebuild them, for now. Soon, I will have much better slow motion, so I can have some large crystal clear HD explosions. After that, they will probably go into color coded bins for spare parts and MOCs, if I can't at least partially rebuild. It's weird, but I actually have more sentiment for the broken destroyed sets than pre-destruction sets. It's like the beat up, old, dirty baseball that Babe Ruth knocked out of the park. There are some sets like this Kwik-E-Mart though, that I love so much I will have to buy 1 for destruction & 1 for me.
  7. The corner pieces sometimes dent, or the top pieces if I drop something on them. I have created a few flat bricks, lol. I usually have 1 or 2 pieces that show some damage per video (aside from the torch video, total loss). However, I haven't lost any exclusive pieces, just bricks that have spares of lying around, so I still have these rebuilt sets that are pretty flawless... for the time being!
  8. Here's the Kwik-E-Mart! and yes, I drop it, too.
  9. No I actually got rid of it, it was definitely not recognizable. Pretty sure I now have lung cancer lol
  10. Can't wait for the kiwk-e-mart!
  11. boomblocks posted a post in a topic in LEGO Star Wars
Stop Motion Build of AT-DP 75083
  12. Wow! Thanks for all the great feedback guys. Let me start by saying, I am a true Lego fan who loves all things Lego, the good, the bad, and the ugly. I am a collector, however bought these sets strictly to combine my favorite things - Stop Motion, Slow Motion, explosions, and Legos. Unfortunately, this is but a mere "Micro" destruction. On my destruction videos I may need to add a disclaimer, lol. I will be using a $50,000 phantom super slow mo camera with plenty of different elements such as, the Sandcrawler on a bed of sand, or the Spongebob sets together in an aquarium full of water, etc. Sadly, I have received an extremely warm welcome from most of my AFOL communities, but not so much here. Hopefully when you see the full vision I can win you guys back over, being that I do feel the biggest connection with AFOL audiences. I know this isn't your usual site content, but sometimes it's fun to keep an open mind and mix it up a bit. The Austin Powers "I'm still alive down here, only very badly burned" reference still kind of makes me laugh, and I think the slow motion at 1:39 is just beautiful. I know it's not for everyone, but if you can get past the Lego death, it may grow on you. Thanks again guys!
  13. Thanks! I was checking out your MOC's, pretty awesome. I especially like the The Last Goodbye, very inspiring.
  14. Hey guys! My name is Jordan and i'd like to share a project of mine, which uses stop motion animation to show the assembly process of a set as well as the eventual slow motion destruction of the set! I am a collector, however bought these sets strictly to combine my favorite things- stop motion, slow motion, explosions, and legos! I'll be using a phantom super slow mo camera featuring lots of different elements. Each video will showcase a short skit or character animation as well. The larger sets will be broken up into two videos (one of the build and one for the destruction), while the micro destructions will feature all parts in a oneshot video. Feedback always helps so let me know what you guys think!
