  1. I got what I was after from the Myer sale, a Mini and a second Detectives Office to break for spare bricks from the Tea Tree Plaza store. I phone reserved them the day before but they had no Palace Cinemas at the time so I reserved one at Marion. I tried calling the city store at 9.00 AM to reserve a PC, all sold. TTP had some but they were gone at opening time but a mate who went for a Mini last night said they had a table full of Mini's, Combi's DO's AND PC's so they must have restocked during the day. I drove down to Marion and to my dismay they had put aside a DO instead of a PC. The absolute angel of a shop assistant got me the copy she had put aside for herself and sold it to me, turns out she was an AFOL herself so I made sure her manager heard how happy I was! Overall a good day! Tony
  2. Thanks for making these instructions available Zephyr. I have the Freight Train set but am collecting the parts to build this Loco from my spare parts and buying in what else I need as it look pretty cool and certainly is a more substantial engine than the one included in the set. Cheers!
  3. Cheers Redimus, I was more looking at the enlarged area being an enlarged water tank, making it a semi tank engine. Either way I was modding on the fly so it ended up not being based on a specific engine......
  4. The Constitution tender looked undersized to my eyes so I copied the EN tender design in a colour scheme that matched the loco. The Emerald Night tender is not in dark green as yet as collecting the needed bricks in dark green has been tricky so far. I hope to do a version of the alternate Emerald Night carriage seen on railbricks as a load for the EN loco. Comments are welcome. Cheers Tony

Hi, my name is Tony and these are my first attempts at Lego trains. The Emerald night is built from Bricklink purchased bricks and downloaded instructions while the grey and black loco is a modification of the Constitution built from bricks I had in my assorted bricks and Bricklink purchases. I am in the process of modifying the Constitution Mod to have working connecting rods as seen on RailBricks. Cheers Tony
  6. That is really nicely done Dylan. I have almost finished Bricklinking the Emerald Night loco and tender (missed the official set by a few years as well) but that is very impressive effort! Cheers Tony
