  1. Though it's a thread hijack, this is a nice looking Falcon.
  2. Late to the party on this one. The whole Padme face printing looks low, I agree. In the clone wars video game that was online earlier last year I grabbed a screenshot of her figure in the hopes that it'd make it into a set. Still hoping for this Jango when the EP2 is re-released.

Love this model! Good luck, would love to see it produced.

I've only got a couple of unopened SW sets, a Tantive IV, Venator and a couple of battle packs, plus loads of series minifigs. Oh, and a white Fett, mini X wing and two shadow ARF troopers. They were all on sale. I ended up getting a Venator in a lot of parts, so I'll probably resell that one. I haven't had a bad enough day in a while to warrant building the Tantive. The minifigs will probably stay sealed and put on display, no real need to MOC/play with them.

Here it is. Also, here are some more pics from LDD, different views and closeups to get a better idea of how these go together. Enjoy!

Thanks for the comments. The Acklay isn't my design, I reverse engineered it from that 2 minute LEGO movie that recounts all of the PT. I may take a shot at my own in the future. The Reek is a bit chubby looking, I should probably lean it out a bit and give the legs more height. The Nexu may very well be closer to tan than white, I'll go back and check. I am planning on building these in bricks, I'll post the results when I get them assembled. Thanks again for the comments and criticisms.

So I modeled up a Reek a while back, but didn't get anywhere on the Nexu. Today, I had some ideas rattling around in my head and decided to try and get them into digital format. I tried for a decidedly feline look for the Nexu. The tail will surely change, as LDD won't allow for illegal connections . Enjoy
  8. Love the ARC-170, very slick!
  9. None of these are very exciting. Hopefully, these aren't the finals. On the bright side, my wallet won't hurt come January.
  10. My wife picked up the new Ewok Attack for me today at Target, was on sale for $20. Looking forward to building it with my son.
  11. This is really cool, very slick, very simple. Nice job!
  12. I think you mean Natalie Portman, no?

Interesting! I'll pull mine down from the display shelf and take a look tonight.

Agreed, I might try my own version of it, this one was from the video. The Nexu is coming together, still not ready to be shown yet but getting there.

Right, the Reek is something I came up with yesterday, it's my own design. I've been working on the Nexu today, we'll see where I end up, may post pics of it tonight.

In LDD it's called 'Curry'. Here is my first iteration of the Reek, with minifig for scale.

Reverse engineered in LDD from screen shots of The Fastest and Funniest LEGO Star Wars Story Ever Told. I plan on starting in on the Reek next.
  20. Growing up, this line was my favorite due to the neon green pieces. I got some of the smaller ones for my birthdays and whatnot and it drove me to collect all of them. I still remember saving up for the Mega Core Magnetizer when I was 13 or so and buying it at the only store in town to carry it. It was $60, that's a lot for a kid. When I got back into LEGO, this line was the first thing I rebuilt, they're now all on display in my house. The inevitably missing pieces also led me to BrickLink, a resource non of us should be without. Thanks for the reviews, these sets still make me smile.
  21. Nevermind.
  22. So my kids like playing the online beta version of LEGO Star Wars III and I've noticed while they were playing that a couple of characters aren't currently available but look like they could be in the near future. This was the case with Savage Opress, it was the first place that his LEGO character likeness was spotted. Such may also be the case with the Clone Wars version of Senator Amidala and a new version of Jango Fett. See attached screenshots from the game. Luckily my son is good enough at it to have unlocked these characters. Observations: This Jango is definitely based on the Mandalorians but has different details which set him apart. Dark blue highlights on the helmet, dark bley torso, purple arms and legs, brown hips and belt. Both Jango and the Senator sport a new blaster mold, very similar to those used by Jango in Episode II. Anyways, just wanted to share.
  23. If anyone is curious, LEGO seems to have the soon-to-be-released-in-the-US August Star Wars set instructions up on their site, I just perused the Republic Frigate instructions to see how it was built. I'm definitely getting that one!

Love the astromech droids, very clever!
  25. Most recent SW purchase was on the 4th, I picked up the Tantive IV and Cad Bane's Speeder. That put me over the top to get 2 shadow ARF troopers. More recently, I felt around for 3 hazmat guys, 1 hockey goalie and 1 berserker from series 4.
