  1. sorry for the bump ... but after building a non-Technic X-bow recently ... I'm looking for a brickstock/bricklink parts list and build instruction ... happy to contribute over paypal if necessary :)
  2. Thanks to the designer for the MOC A friend bought me the kit for Xmas and sent me a link to the video Here are some pics of the comparison :) [/img]

hi Anio Is there a link to the parts list of the BB-8 please so I can see how much it'll be on Bricklink before I order the instructions from you ? Oh and are any of the parts not available in the colour needed or is everything available in unpainted Lego form ? cheers Raj ps. the A-wing I made based on your instructions is great ! :) a really good build
  4. Any updates on this ? I'd love a Lego one to go with the one I have in my garage If you need any pics to base your model off, just let me know :)
  5. thanks for the info since you've done this in the UK, what would you suggest the order should be on where to get the parts from ? have you a few websites you could list and I'll start working on the spreadsheet to track everything :)
  6. I'll pay whatever is a fair price in addition to the Lego parts itself ... actually a couple of my friends are now interested so it would be 3 sets ... I guess it might get to a point where I should just do it myself and just split the shipping for the various parts orders between the three of us But if there's someone who'd be willing to do this then just let me know a price for 3 sets of bricklinked 10179's and we'll go from there and no Andy ... not a joke ... cold hard cash waiting :) edit : I started looking into this earlier in the year ... got to making a spreadsheet with the parts and quantities but gave up once I started seeing that not all the parts were available new from Lego pick and brick / bricks and pieces ... and that I assumed there'd be a cheaper way if I buy parts in bulk from non lego group websites ... if there's anyone in the who done a whole 10179 from scratch and still has their order lists then it should be easier for them to do it and we're ok to pay a fair premium for the privilege
  7. hi everyone I wondered if there's anyone in the UK who'd offer the service to basically post me a complete bricklinked 10179 (with the usual cheapskate substitutions) if you'd be up for doing this could you reply to this thread to how much it would be posted to me (I'm in Reading if you happen to be local and I could collect) even better if you have access to a colour duplex printer and you could print and bind the pdf instructions since I'd hate to build this from my laptop ... LOL :) cheers Raj ps. edit : if it makes it more viable for whomever does it ... a friend of mine said he'd be up for one too ... so we'd like 2 sets plz :)
  8. I found my technic dark side developer kit built into the AT-AT ... no box or instructions ... any idea what it's worth please ? cheers :)
  9. darn it ... I was hoping someone would be able to do the heavy lifting for me and provide me a list ... LOL

  15. Hi community I'm a newbie UK poster on the forums and I've done a bit of searching but couldn't find what I wanted so here's this post I'm considering building a 10179 from bar parts What's the best way for me to go about getting all the parts I've seen people mention getting a spreadsheet made up and entering all the part numbers and quantities then checking prices on PAB and BrickLink ... but for a newbie to this that sounds daunting Are there any shortcut I could take ? Any spreadsheets I can grab for example which have suggestions for alternate parts for the handful of hard to get 10179 parts ? or any premade ways of getting the parts entered in to a shopping basket on Lego.com etc ... Or do I have to take the plunge and boot up a new spreadsheet LOL thanks in advance for the help Raj
