  1. White half pins have returned in the 10300 DeLorean. Pretty sure they are frictionless but either way, nice to have.
  2. Yeah it's a mess. I hope new parts get added soon because I always need more. Anyway, I think I kind of managed to break the system because I placed an order through Bricks and Pieces even though it's no longer available in my country. Most of the new parts show up and are in stock, with some small exceptions here and there. It showed up in my cart as a PaB order. Placed it, got accepted and it's now in warehouse. Now just to wait two months for the shiny new parts to arrive (slightly outdated screenshot since it says "processing" rather than "in warehouse" but for some reason I can't get the images loading today)
  3. Looks nice in white. The files seem to be corrupt according to my PC though.
  4. Apologies if it's already been mentioned, but alongside the soft (lbg) shock absorbers discussed earlier in the "general part discussion" topic, Bricklink also has a new entry for the hard (yellow) shock absorbers, with a slightly updated coil. I wonder if the stiffness changed, but I would assume it's the same.
  5. I also feel addressed There’s one 1x3 flip flip beam in the Apollo IE and some 1x3 liftarms with all 3 holes being axle holes, but it’s usually quite easy to come up with an alternative anyway. Btw: you don’t need to paint anything for a fully LEGO 488 Pista (not anymore) Anyway I don’t really think it’s the right place for the discussion about purism/purists, but personally I like to attend LEGO fan conventions with my models, and off branded stuff is not always appreciated. I am far from a purist and will (when necessary) paint parts, cut axles (for example 8 long into 7 long axles, very rarely though) and on very rare occasions use off branded panels (white wheelarches or DBG panels for example, two colors very hard to match with paint).
  6. Can confirm. I recently received the Apollo IE (with the white top batterybox) only came with the batterybox and a very short USB to micro USB-B.
  7. CaDA sold quite a large amount of the C61042 from what I have seen on various social media platforms and forums, and I have yet to read a report of a battery exploding.
  8. I hope the little gaps in the system parts is a user error, not a design or quality error. I’ll update the index later.
  9. Yeah that's pretty much LEGO nowadays. The F150 Raptor lacks the one function that differentiates it from the normal F150: 4WD. It's even written all over in the instructions. And it took fans no more than a few weeks to fix that issue.
  10. All of the new parts and recolors are available on Bricks & Pieces. Unlucky for the countries where LEGO has merged PaB with B&P, because they're not on PaB...
  11. Awesome moc. Those lights are fantastic.
  12. According to Promobricks, it will be a Ferrari Daytona SP3. Also, according to their most recent info, the set will be coming this summer after all. The Liebherr might be delayed instead though. https://www.promobricks.de/lego-technic-2022-summer-new-info/139490/
  13. They're also saying it might be delayed: https://www.promobricks.de/lego-technic-2022-summer-new-info/139490/
  14. Are those white soft axles 11 long? The part number doesn't match the 12 long part number. Edit: yes, they are, according to Rebrickable: https://rebrickable.com/blog/466/review-42140-1-app-controlled-transformation-vehicle/
  15. It looks okay but still not quite right and a bit messy in some places. The front wing is completely wrong, there’s two panels sticking out of the side, most of the part between the halo and spoiler is too wide. Other than that it looks better than the official set imo.
  16. I guess “younger” is relative When I said younger I meant like <15 years old.
  17. It’s what gets clicks with the younger audience. I’ve never been a fan either.
  18. That is a very interesting set, much more than I thought. Shame about the new (almost) useless yellow parts, but new blue parts are always welcome in my book.
  19. As if we didn’t have enough color vomit yet. I guess they got too many complaints about people messing up the 8t and 12t gears...
  20. It doesn’t seem like there is anything to suggest a “locking differential” like what was written on the McLaren website.
  21. I hope someone didn’t violate an embargo date
  22. Well, they're not lying. My order from January 3rd shipped today, exactly six weeks
  23. Has to be an axle hole or they’ll go flying all around the place.
  24. And somehow the 22 year old set looks better, has way nicer wheels with printed tyres, has more functions and has a unique color.
