Amazing model! My only complaint is the front grille/lights. They just look kind of odd. The headlights look too bulky and the grille is too flat. I do know that curved plates don’t exist, so it’s probably the best you can do without modifying parts.

Those joints are ratcheting, so that means you can’t have (proper) suspension.

Yes, that works, and no you don’t need the new red differential for it. It is however 1/10th stud or something too short to fit perfectly in a 7L space.

Here’s what I’m working with. I’ve got it all sorted in drawers. I tried cases, but it was much less efficient because you’ll need much more space on your desk. Connectors, gears, pins, thin liftarms, panels and axles are all sorted by shape, with the exception of a few parts I don’t have enough of to fill a drawer. Liftarms are sorted by shape in these bigger drawers. That is also where I build. I have everything at hand and plenty of space for huge builds. And while I was taking pictures, thought I might as well showoff share my collection. I don’t think I’ve shared all of these here yet. Here's what I've been doing the last 3 years. You can definitely motorise it, it’s just a question of how much do you want to modify? RacingBrick already made one RC mod with a BuWizz, which left the gearbox in tact but wasn’t used to change the speed. I’d follow the 42083 Mods and improvements topic. You’ll definitely see some popping up at some point.

Actually, while the blue clutch does engage with the old extension ring, it creates a lot of friction when it’s in a build because the “clutch” part of the gear is less than half a stud inside (the gear is 1 stud, and because of the bit of plastic separating the two halves it means less than 0.5 stud), while the extension part is more than that... That’s the same with the red ones, and might also be the reason for LEGO making the yellow extension ring.

Have you put the driving rings on the smooth connectors correctly? You can put them one of two ways. One has quite a bit more friction. Put it on, then remove it and rotate it 90°. If it’s smoother, great, if not rotate it 90° again and it will be smooth. This is because the smooth axle connectors have a roundish side and a flat side, and the driving rings have little notches that make it click on ridgded connectors. What you want is to have the notches on the flat side. That way they barely/don’t touch the axle connector and it should work better. By the way, regarding the shocks, I think you might have used newer shocks which are stiffer

Why would you go through the trouble of sourcing rare parts for a white one if you’re just going to use “different” parts anyway?

@Zerobricks They are from a bricklink store called Cornholio’s bricks from Belgium. He collects/collected these kinds of thing and has way more rare parts like that, such as smooth 2L axle connectors in blue, trans clear, blue and red 2L pins, and red train tracks. They’re all legitimate LEGO, just never released in a set. There are more sellers who have these parts. Magic Magnus or something (from Germany) has loads too. It’s very possible the fenders exist in red as that is usually used to test the moulds. I just haven’t seen any for sale, or even seen it at all. @TechnicRCRacer Regarding the rust pins, I think the seller just chose the wrong colour since there’s very very little difference between the two. And I do vaguely remember you posting these some time ago Still, cool parts. I’d like some of those XO liftarms.

If you just want the suspension arms/springs/CV joints, 42037 could do that just fine and is much cheaper than a Porsche or Bugatti. I think 42000 is one you could consider as well. I don’t know if it had A-arms at the front, but it does have the rest of the suspension parts and red/white parts. I think 42077 is also a great set to get. I think we’ll see much more dark azure in the next years so those parts will become more usable over time. 42039 could work for you as well, but the colours are an even bigger problem than orange. 42056 is a great set. Even if you don’t have any orange, there is still so much you can do with the included panels liftarms and soft axles. It also has a lot of gears (one advantage of having an overly complex gearbox ) and gearbox parts.

Black and grey for me. It’s a great middle ground between colour coding and colour vomit.

Those 3L axles with stop just got rereleased. Maybe you could use them for your white Porsche MOD? https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=10712-1 I got 20 of those blue bushings in my Sheepo Mustang

Those two thin liftarms forming window of the door aren’t fixed, so that may be an issue... And it seems @Aventador2004 that you have used an older version of @Offroadcreat1ons door. The possible issue above is present in both versions though.

Yes, it is. The maximum angle is 45°. You can get a little bit sharper, but it won’t be very smooth.

I did that too for 4 bushings. For me it was a little too shiny, but that's just me being bad at spray painting

I think Paul told me something along of the lines of that the white clutch gear makes the lower gears hardly work...

I didn't have enough cylinders or toggle joints for a full W16, but it should work perfectly as W16! Here's my W8 engine. Only had to make one little change to the crank because I removed half the engine. Video quality could have been better... Sorry.
