  1. I don't think we will because it has a specialised rim to go with it. Sure, they can do it with pins but that doesn't seem like a TLG solution to me.
  2. Paul said on fb that blue gear is only for reinforcements, not for function... Still, it wouldn't surprise me if that's R, since it is rotating the other direction of the gearbox.
  3. LEGO has got to be pissed right now... Even more leaks
  4. That would be very cool and quite likely. Jeroen's Aston Martin DB11 has something like that too, and it's definitely something I hadn't seen before.
  5. The problem would be that they couldn't start selling it June 1st, like they planned to. And honestly, I'd expect some more loyalty from your employees.
  6. As soon as LEGO sells them they'll be no more than 20 cents each.
  7. That is indeed the case. On the left you can see a different pin (red long axle pin) than on the right (pin with stop bush).
  8. And the Ship in a bottle from LEGO Ideas had dark turquoise in the stand. It's everywhere, just less visible in some sets I guess...
  9. That's true. It doesn't affect the suspension too much in my experience. 42039 had this too.
  10. Actually I am all out of 3L blue pins and blue axle pins . 2L axles are limited as well.
  11. I love that engine detail! I am not particularly a fan of the gears that shift the 2 speed gearbox (or high low range shifter). I really dislike having to allign gears so specifically to get a function to work. Still, it's looking like a great gearbox. I think I have said this before but the bodywork does look great! The front has a bit of an Audi feel to it.
  12. This has already been shared before:
  13. I personally don't mind colour coding that much. I think colour coded axles are growing on me a bit. I have built Jeroen Ottens' Aston Martin which used this to great effect, essentially creating a Blakbird render in bricks with coloured axles indicating a drivetrain for a function. Of course you can also go overboard, like 42070, but all black isn't helping anyone either. Some parts are good to have colour coded especially for younger builders, like pins and axles.
  14. Thanks for sharing. It was a nice little read.
  15. I seriously don't get how you are all able to rate this set so prematurely. We don't even know anything about the features, and one picture simply isn't enough to properly rate it as a whole.
  16. Not true. These kinds of brakes require quite a lot of force to actually work. When they do work however they work very well, and that's where the damaged parts come from. The 3x3 pulleys on my Sheepo Mustang have some black parts of the rubbers on them. Also, people definitely don't buy this set just for display. There's definitely going to be some younger fans wanting to play with it, whether that be the son/daughter of an AFOL or a TFOL who bought the set himself.
  17. I doubt that LEGO would do such thing given the fact that these things get some serious damage if you're pushing the car with the brakes engaged. Speaking from experience here.
  18. I doubt the disc brakes will work. They are way better than the ones on the Porsche though. Maybe they are the reason for the pins in the wheels?
  19. That is including the box and its contents (parts and instructions manual).
  20. I think that is a 14L black soft axle at the 42082 cab. These are rare right now.
  21. LEGO acknowledged the error but never corrected it. To fix it swap step 267 and 269, they are a set of gears near the rear of the chassis.
  22. 2x soft springs probably don't work. What about the normal hard ones from 8466? I am pretty sure those are still cheaper than the extra hard ones. Lucky I got them before they became so expensive
