[MOC] Ferrari LaFerrari 1:8
I know there is at least one person who built it with 100% LEGO using CaDA instructions. It’s possible but does require a little bit of thinking Regarding wheels: there is a second person in Germany. He doesn’t have a website but you can reach him via @kreativ.rims on IG or “Eugen Teledezki” on FB. Admittedly they’re not as nice as the ones from Technic-Rims, but they are also less than a quarter of the price.

General Part Discussion
LvdH replied to Polo-Freak's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingAccording to the box it's 32 cm long, which equates to about 1:12.7. The 42110 Defender is approximately 1:10 scale.

LvdH replied to Polo-Freak's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThere is a light bluish gray bush on the axle next to the rim. They’re definitely not LBG.

42143 Ferrari F40 - 1:8 - alternate build
LvdH replied to Timorzelorzworz's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingEverything up until here looks perfect to me. Especially for a B model. The brickbuilt details look great and I particularly like the vents in the top portion of the doors. It's the front end that, to me, does not stick the landing. Great job anyways, it does look very well built.

I think some will appreciate this one. Upcoming model from CaDA, designed by Eric Trax.

General Part Discussion
LvdH replied to Polo-Freak's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingIt looks like the round edges of the axle are gone. Hopefully the axle is also slightly extended so it's actually 1 module in length (not 0.9 or whatever it is).

Display Cases and Wall Mounts
LvdH replied to Seasider's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYou can always go for a DIY option. These are made by @vinkie_116 on Instagram using a wooden plank painted in the car’s respective color. Then they are hung by using these “panels” used for the Lego Art series.

Technic 2023 Set Discussion
Apparently 42159 will be a Yamaha MT. Considering the price point ($250) it's probably the successor to the BMW bike. https://www.brickfanatics.com/lego-technic-42159-yamaha-mt-2022-rumoured

Technic 2023 Set Discussion
This is what “agile blue” looks like. https://s1.cdn.autoevolution.com/images/news/this-stunning-bugatti-chiron-super-sport-in-agile-blue-will-make-you-drool-191878_1.jpg I’m guessing the LEGO version will be dark azure because this looks more bright and the McLaren Senna already came in normal blue.

They mostly seem to be very and common standard parts and some of them might even be extras included in the set. But here is a short list of parts I spotted: 1x black 6 long axle 1x LBG technic bush 1x black 2x4 L-shaped liftarm 2x red pin connector with axle 2x tan frictionless axle pin 2x black pin with pin hole 2x black 1x3 perpendicular connector 2x black round 1x1 plate with bar hole 1x red non-CaDA branded #13 panel 1x red non-CaDA branded #14 panel 2x red connector with 2 pins I may have missed something, but like I said most of these parts could be included as extras in the set.

42155 - THE BATMAN – BATCYCLE™
LvdH replied to Ngoc Nguyen's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThe fact that the boy has to keep the front wheel in place to prevent the front fork from bending even more than it does in the video doesn't look good.

Using three of these which are black on the red model. One green, one white and one red.

One seller already listed it on their website for $200. May sounds more likely. Especially given that it seems pretty much ready for launch, based on the built model as well as box seen at Nuremberg.

[MOC] Ferrari LaFerrari 1:8
What QA issues? They are intentional features. CaDA (hopefully) seems to be fixing them. At least the wheels. This car deserves (and needs) better wheels, and definitely not something chrome.
-
[CADA] CADA General Discussion Topic
It didn't come with special wheels, and still doesn't come with them either. They've always been a separate purchase, and not even released at the same time.
-
[CADA] CADA General Discussion Topic
Why would that not be the reason? None of the other master sets had special wheels included.

There are some closeups of the AMG One in this short video, including of the really nice looking wheels.

[MOC] Ferrari LaFerrari 1:8
It’s the CaDA alternative for the orange wave selector from TLG. The result of the whole patent “drama”.

It looks like one big piece. Although it does look good, from a build perspective I don't know if I like it. The official Mercedes AMG license is cool. I'm sure this allowed CaDA to make proper wheels. I have a feeling this will also have a premium price. Just guessing here what the functions could be: Since it's said to be RC, RC drive and steering Possibly a gearbox Raising spoiler and flaps above the wheels You can see the box photo has the spoiler up and the flaps up. In the built model both are down. In the real car this also raises/lowers the suspension. The usual, aka suspension and opening doors etc. Bad news for the LEGO purists, there is no way to build this without major modifications or third party pieces. The wheelarches are new/different (NOT the same as the new Daytona ones). There's some trapezium shaped panels with the hole moved one stud to the middle. The roof scoop is probably impossible to replace with something that looks as good.

That looks phenomenal.

It’s nice in some areas, but it’s also my least favorite of the Technic “master” series. The proportions seem off, especially the roof. But then I also don’t like the real car that much
