And now you know why it’s being released via CaDA, because building it in LEGO is beyond unaffordable for a lot of people Anyway, you can order the 1x6 thin liftarms via Pick a Brick (maybe out of stock), two of the toggle joints are barely visible if I remember correctly, the 1x2 thick liftarms weren’t needed in mine so no clue where they’re located and indeed the red 1/2 pins can be the new one with friction ridges. That just leaves the other two red toggle joints which might not need to be red, and the DBG connectors which are used for the headlights.

Great little model. Also impressive that you managed to fit the suspension (which by itself is already more interesting in design than the entire RSR or 488 GTE) and a gearbox with paddle shifters in such a small car. This is going on my "to build" list

The nice part about this function is that you can switch it on or off by sliding one 20t gear, also shown in the video. This also makes it easy to center the suspension on the front and rear axles.

The Jesko I built last summer was okay. The pins are not that good but overall it’s good enough for one time build, some playing/testing the functions and then displaying. Apparently this LaFerrari is already being built with CaDA pieces by someone in China, and they claimed the quality has improved.

Spray painted. RAL 1023 (satin) should match perfectly.

Mindblowing build. This is on a whole another level compared to anything else in the market. The looks and functions go perfectly hand in hand. I would like to thank Tlego for allowing me to build this in advance, testing the instructions and the amazing build experience, some of the help along the way and the countless of hours that went into designing, redesigning and even improving the design months after it was finished.

Don’t know about live axles, but Crowkillers has used it for a front axle with independent suspension and driven axle through a differential in the past. Here in the “Vampire GT” for example: https://brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=5281186 Artemy Zotov also used it in his Audi R8 using the 5 long suspension arms for steering: There’s plenty of examples out there if you look through Rebrickable.

Nice! I like this one a lot more than your V1. But I still see areas that could be better. I'm still not sure on the rear, particularly the diffuser which is too bulky. The tail lights would also look better if they were on the same line (angle) as those #1 and #2 panels above them. Maybe it's possible to close off the gap just above the rear wheel arches using a 2x3 elliptical liftarm in red in between the #3/#4 panel and #1 and #2 panel. I agree with @Alex Ilea that the area around the headlights is a bit cluttered. I also think the front end slopes down maybe a stud too much. Very minor complaint, but as far as I know the Huracan has no special doors. But it looks cooler so I don't really care. All in all a really nice looking MOC. I am definitely considering building this, but that might be late(r) this year with my current backlog

The black shock absorbers look longer than 6.5 long.

It looks great! Nicely priced too. A ton of recolors and new panels in dark blue are very welcome. But… This might be overreacting, but seriously: Why can’t Lego stick to the wheelarch panels they already have? Why does this need ANOTHER two sets of new wheelarches? I was hoping since this set was announced to be dark blue, it would allow for some more color swaps in MOCs, but I guess not.

That’s quite a number of sets, and then there is still the Liebherr crane. I’m guessing these will be spread out throughout the 2nd half of 2023, similar to what they are doing with the first half.

I haven’t experienced the issues with driving the 16t gears personally. I do know is that LEGO changed the mould of the 20t bevel gear 7 or 8 years ago (something like that). This was years after they retired the gray bevel gears and replaced them with black and tan. It’s the newer version that is especially rough. The new version of the black and tan one are both affected, the older ones run fine just like the gray ones. Rebrickable also has two versions of this part listed. Here’s a somewhat recent thread discussing the issue:

If you put the old 12t and 20t bevel gears right next to a liftarm the teeth would sometimes rub against the pin holes. That doesn’t happen with the new 12t and 20t gears because the teeth are slightly offset.

Very impressive that you managed to reverse engineer this car. The red version looks amazing! I actually prefer that one because you can see the lines a lot better. Would you be willing to share the io file, privately if necessary? If @langko doesn’t mind, of course

I’m not sold on the DBG, but the shapes and proportions look perfect. Love the use of the classic “mirror” piece for the headrests.

There is reason to doubt, because zero load RPM doesn’t mean a whole lot if you don’t have the torque numbers. Not to mention my comment was about the DRIVING speed difference.

You made the claim. The burden of proof is on you That’s wonderful but Bruno’s supercar doesn’t use M motors.
