That's the spirit! Welcome to Masterbuilder paradise!
  2. That is a nice outpost, especially given that it was mostly built from leftovers Btw, is there a war coming? 10 guards for an outpost is quite a lot!
  3. What a great architecture , combined with a great colour scheme and brought to life with some nice scenery

Welcome back out of your so called Dark Ages! I love to read the stories of how people got back into Lego. Older movie/series themes include Ghost Busters, Indiana Jones and the upcoming Doctor Who. Have fun here on Eurobricks
  5. I really like the modification you did on the middle one, but I think that it does look quite good in the set as well. The 'dragon' included in the Ronin REX set looks, erm.., ridiculous. It definitely needs legs and better wings (or a smaller head), so pretty good job on that one . I feel like the designers did a fairly good job on the dragons on this wave overall, given that most of them are just sidekick builds. Most of them don't really need legs with articulation in my opinion. Personally, two simple clips representing claws would be sufficient.
  6. ^ Thanks, good point! I'll put a reference pic in my post

Great little builds , also nice scene going on! I'm a conformist!!
  8. Haha, I like the thought of that! And since one action theme (Chima) has come to an end... Of course this is speculation. I can see that piece being used in the Ninjago D2C in New Dark Red, that would be lovely! It is a great piece, let's hope Lego uses it for even greater purposes
  9. Great effect, but the road itself has just great colours and texturing!
  10. I can see it now . That. Is. AMAZING!
  11. Man, I hope we get (leaked) official images of the D2C set soon, because people in this topic are loosing their focus . A few guys are discussing the hair colour and bloodline of Jay and Ronin, the others are complaining about Bricks & Pieces, while there are seperate topics for that. Sorry for the rant guys , but it would be a shame if the 100th page of this topic were to be filled with off-topic posts
  12. Great build! I am a big fan of the Japanese architecture, those huts are great! The way you portrayed the lifestyle of the villagers is nice and the waterline is just excellent Maybe you could do a little bit of texturing/SNOTting on the grass, or make a path of planks between the huts, it looks a bit plain IMO. Other than that: excellent creation, brick on!
  13. Hi all, Here is a Fullmetal Alchemist MOC . I got the inspiration for it because of a single printed tile: http://brickset.com/parts/6103044 (from the Ender Dragon set). For some reason, it immediately reminded me of Alphonse Elric, so I didn't hesitate and bought two . I decided to build the head semi-3D, so that I could do simple lines and his key features. Now then, some pictures: Looking at something else How that works: EDIT: A reference picture for those who are not familiar with the anime Fullmetal Alchemist: Thanks for viewing, C&C welcome
  14. Welcome gpricey! Enjoy your time here
  15. Great build review! I'm not sure if this really belongs in the Action and Adventure themes forum though.
  16. That fire looks good, but the base would look better if it were more SNOTted.
  17. That is a nice drawing! The point is, I can't see the flickr image above it, it says it's unavailable :/
  18. ^ Thanks, I'm glad it is helpful to you :)
  19. Right now TLG has so many themes and so many sets with minifigs and pieces to collect, that it is impossible to buy them all (unless your rich, a trader or a good reviewer). Removing the option of buying some minifigs via B&P will lead to three developments: 1. People will buy more sets, to a certain extent... 2. Because thereafter, it will be to expensive and people will leave some sets on the shelves. 3. The sales and prices(?) on the aftermarket will increase I think people should be able to get the minifigs and pieces they want without having to spend ridiculous amounts of money on sets or on aftermarket figs. I hope TLG is just experimenting, seeking for a right balance.
  20. I've been there too . I don't know how it compares to other Brand stores, though. I still wonder why not a single brand store in the Netherlands has opened yet . Thanks for sharing!
  21. There were some incredibly nice MOCs in this challenge (the roof with the droid arms is still unbelievable!), congratz to all the winners!
  22. "extreme sensitive nature" That must have been a heavy landing! Nice surface, the footprint has a great shape
  23. Hi all, here is some stuff that I have made quite some time ago, but now I joined EB I can finally share it with you . The first little build can be considered a MOC, I guess. In my opinion, the 2013 version of the Overlord (In Garmadon form) included in the Temple of Light set was just not at all like in the show. When in 2014 the Overlord got a proper head, I decided to build the Overlord during transformation. It is a rather simple build, but it works for me. Not very good-looking from the back, I think. The second 'build' is a simple modification of Samukai, which I found quite necessary. His set appearance had just very short legs compared to his body and due to the lack of movement in the wrists, longer weapons were doomed to be right in front of his face, among other things. So I modified him for a bit: Better limbs proportions, though the arms are a little long. Now he can enjoy swinging around his weapons in any possible way Thanks for viewing, C&C appreciated!
