So far the only technic build I've put together is Model B of the Mobile Crane MKII (I was drawn to this build because I used to work around a lot of container stackers... Kalmar). I'm super excited about this one; can't wait to go buy it! Great in-depth review.
I had ordered Parisian Restaurant. By now, however, I've put together Pet Shop, the VW camper, Tower of Orthanc, Bike shop, a few of the Star Wars micro fighters, technic Crane mk2... I'm already addicted. Placed my first order at Brick Link. I'm very interested in landscapes.
Hello all. As the title says, I'm a total nube - new to this forum and LEGO in general. I'm 27; seems like I missed out on a lot of awesomeness of building with bricks in my childhood! Over the last year I've become very intrigued with what people are able to create with LEGO. Most of my hobbies are outdoors (hiking, trail running... mostly a lot of hiking), so I thought this would be a great indoor hobby to experiment with - doing something with my hands and testing out my creativity! I've been voting on the Ideas website for a while; my favorite ideas usually relate to the STEM disciplines. I also love LoTR builds! I just bought my first LEGO sets the other day, waiting for it to come in the mail. Bought a few sets to get some experience building then hopefully move on to making my own creations! Maybe I'll even post something to Ideas one day, who knows. I look forward to getting to know some people! Thanks!
