BMW i8 Spyder
brickified replied to Sheepo's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingSheepo, this is a nice looking car and great features. I'd like to build it eventually. Did you ever consider using regular lego parts (non-technic) for the BMW grille and other parts of the front section? Maybe you could do that to replace the gray pieces you used.

Let's make Bat-Pod happen!
I think the chances are pretty low. You have to factor in all the VIP members who bought Super Heroes sets in a Lego store or online as well. I'm pretty sure much more than those who bothered sending emails.

42039 - 24 Hour Race Car - Discussion Topic
brickified replied to AndroTech's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI built this set last night, however, I was quite disappointed with the looks. I was hoping it looked better in person but that was not the case. Reminds me of a duck-billed platypus. Oh well, more parts in the parts bin. .

Where is the love for exo-suit?
I built the Exo-Suit a couple days ago. I liked it, looks nice. It has some problems though. It's easy for parts to fall off of it. Some parts slide off quite easily. You have to be careful when you reposition it.

Parts Lego didn't need to make
All Lego parts are useful. One man's useless part is another man's treasure :)

Sets with many flat tiles and small plates
Are there any official current Lego sets with many flat tiles and small plates of varying sizes and colors? I just want to collect as many as possible for MOCing. Thanks!

AFOL going crazy...
Hi everyone, I am new to this forum. Just got back into Lego in my 30s after a LONG hiatus. I think the last Lego set I had was in my pre-teens. It was Lego Mindstorms when I was dabbling in robotics recently that brought Lego back into my eye. I never had Technic as a child. Now in the past few months I've been snapping up many Technic sets. I also got some Lego creator, ideas models, as well as the Batman Tumbler. This is becoming an expensive hobby, but it is quite therapeutic to build these things. Glad to be here! -brickified
