oh, you remember :) it was more than 10 years ago :) Although Baldur's Gate 1 and 2 are my most favorite games (I consider Icewind Dale 1 and 2 part of Baldur's Gate), I must say Baldur's Gate 3 really pleasantly suprised me with quality of content - I really enjoyed myself playing it. In this very moment I am playing my third run (first was normal, and I;ve missed many things, made some bad choices without knowing it:), second I went trough tactician and it was great, but still mad emistakes (don;t allow Lae'Zel sit in that contraption in her creshe, ie allow her to sit but force dice (of 30) to force her to get out before it damages her permanently (-2 to stats, each save is another -2, Con, Wis and Int, if I remember correctly, and only cure is for her to eat tadpol, and I never go that route:) and now I am playing on Honor and I am cruising :) I am building now a large AD&D diorama that isa 16x4 in size (48x48), plus 2x4 Underdark under the main table, 40-60cm high, will have 2m tall dragon - I will make 3 special parties that roam, and only true fans will reckognize it - in first it will be same party I play, more or less: Jaheira, Khalid, Minsc, Imoen, Dynaheir, Edwin (In reality I play me, Viconia, Kivan, Imoen, Minsc, Dynaheir) in second, I will have Keldorn, Viconia, Aerie, Nalia, Jan, Korgan (I play me, Keldorn, Viconia, Aerie, Imoen) in third, Shadowharth, Gale, Lae'Zel, Astarion, Karlach, Minthara (I play me, Lae'Zel, Shadowharth, Gale:) I am already loving the idea, for example, for Edwin there is a new hood in red from red ridinghood, now I have a hamster for Minsc (asll those things didn;t exist 10 years ago), I have a face and hair for Drow - just yesterday I was preparing 60 Drow warriros as new faces arrived - and I will use the chrome dragon helmet and breastplate for Keldorn, for example, I have nice hoods for imoen - and so on This isa a first time after years I don;t have a deadline for building creation, and I want to enjoy myself, take it slow, built with love and dedication - you should see my work table, it is filled with love :) --- btw, I calcualted, if I took all of my fantasy castle creations from all events and connected them in one, it would have been world record largest castle diorama in the world :) 40.000 minifigs :)1000 48x48 baseplates :) 3m tall towers :) To add, I have two kids now, 5 and 2 years old - they practicaly live in my LEGO studio :) build non stop, and we have so much fun. I promised my son that this AD&D diorama will not go to events until he has as much time as he wants to play on it :)

thank you, guys :) no need to be :) Since I was born and until I was 30 I literary had two buckets of bricks. I discovered bricklink on 01.01. 2008. and needed 4 months to make my first order of 40 eur :) spent so much time in bank trying to send money, and I waited 4 months for someone to come from Germany and bring the package to me :) When package came, I just gave one of last exams I had, it was super dificult to pass, I had a new girl that I really really liked for two months, both gorgeous and a pall, and she told me she loved me, and I got my package with LEGO bricks, most were minifig accessories. I felt like on the top of the world Two weeks later girlfriend left me, I faild next exame and LEGO bricks become old, as I already played with them (initial enthusiasm faded) - than I realized that today you can have everything, and tomorrow nothing, and nothing lasts for ever "famous from coin "this will pass also" :) until 2012 I thought I was the only adult in my country (Serbia) who plays with LEGO bricks. Imagine that. I realized than there are other adults, and I started socializing, not soon after we made our club, Beokocka since 2013 to 2024 I have acquired over 6 tons (6000 kg) of LEGO bricks, between 20.000 and 40.000 minifigs, and today I have around 300 diferent size dioramas built, all cruising the world on events. Note that my monthly paycheck until 2018 was 250-350 eur my whole life, and my familly was lower middle class (so no extra money) And although I do have some skilles or virtues developed, so do you or anyone - meaning, anyone can do what I have done - and I also post A TON of "how to" on Beokocka site (totally nonprofit), with literary just one goal - to help AFOLs to do the same (today I earn one new house every two years from LEGO, and even though it is mostly passive income, I build every day not because I need to, but because I love to build - this build is not for a specific event, I just love the AD&D (fantasy castle) theme in LEGO I am 46 now, have two kids, happy home, amazing wife, and it didn;t just happen, I worked on it. I wll never EVER play a lottery and win, it is just as it is - when people mention hundreds of girlfriends I had, I note one thing - for every single one I had to sweat to seduce her (I had to put effort, in my country girls value virtue, achivements, looks have zero influence, as well as money, the better looking girl, the smarter and stronger she is, more virtue value she demands from you when you try to seduce - and I love our culture for this:). Same goes with sport, I played in national team of Serbia for more than decade - but when I started, I was the worst :) the slowest. So I went to proffesionals, modified my technicue and went every day on training - and I salowly came to be one fo the fastest in team, if not the fastes tone. Same with faculty, same with business, same with friends and social circles, same as publishing books that have 1500 and more pages - you just sit and write few pages today. Do that every day, after a year you have a 1000 page book. Our house was so dirty in one moment, I lost desire to clean, because it would take days. So what I did? I made a list of everything that needed to be cleaned, moved and fixed, and went, one thing on list, one day. Everything was fixed within just few days, as some tasks only took miutes and I had energy to go on --- Regarding quantity of bricks - I would suggest you play with what you have. Set aside 50 eur and buy something from bricklink to refresh what you have, minifig accessories and some makeup bricks, and start building (castle, pirate ship, spaceship, city diorama, what ever is you choosing) and just enjoy the process, and play with it :) like a kid :) I think you will love it :) And if you are in EU, we could meet on some event, and I will bring few special bricks as a present :D

Angeli started following [MOC] Temple of Selune
-
I am building a huge AD&D diorama. As a part of it, I have a Temple of Seluna. Two towers, connected with a bridge, and in final setup they will be on two diferent sides of a chasam that is leading directly into underdark, and they will be surrounded with water, with waterfalls falling into Underdark. Each tower is around 1.2m tall (the talles tower in diorama will be 3m tall), and the chasam is 0.8m deep. The towers will have surroundings, water gardens and attached buildings. Temple is work in progress, I am expecting 1000 pearl gold chains to arrive till the end of week (they are around 0.03 eur per piece, so 30 something eur for all) As a special threat, I really like this torso from Night Protector, CM Series 22, bricklink id col392 which I am using with elvish hairs and hoods with masks, with spear and trans purple shields. You can also notice bunch of Mindflayers in the background, as they will have their space in the Underdark Underdark will have huge par devoted to the Drow (my favorite LEGO theme:), one part for the Dwarven stronghold, one part for the Lich with lech dragon and small sceleton army - and the rest will be fungy, Myconids, and the else what can be found in Underdark Above there will be human willage on 4x4 (always 48x48), whan Temple of Selune on 4x4, thank 2m tall dragon with dragonborn castle, and finally lake with elvish ruins, vampire stronghold, forest, and wizard's tower (3m high). The whole diorama will be 16x4 (48x48) with another level below of 16x2 for Underdark, 80 cm high. I already have prepared hundreds of unique AD&D themed minifigs, have a squad of around 100 dragonborn warriors (dragon head from dragonbron paladin, body from that large minifig from NEXO knights, 10 dragons Hungarian thorntails from Harry Potter, just modified with 4 wings and bunch of other things, you can see two of them on a cake in front of my club member in a picture 2m tall dragon will be glued and with metal frame inside, as I would like her wings to go over much of diorama Underdark is by far part of build I am most looking forward for. I love how Drow look with new heads (I used to post here my old Drow cities, you can find them using search)

looks great :) I am hoping we are going to see Drow in the next D&D CMF

Hi :) AFOL can never be late for a moc :D unfortunately, I have zero online presence :) I literary post my creations only on Eurobricks and one facebook group - and that is it :) I have an instagram page Beokocka, but it was just for few months until I finished some job - there are hundreds of pictures there :) Qlso on My Flickr and Brickshelf, but I haven;t upadted those for 10 years :) there ar elinks at the end of every post I make, in footer I have been building, though :) I have built dozens if not hundreds of dioramas since then. When I posted this I had around 300 baseplates under creations - I have 2000 now. You can check the LOTR that goes on 12x12 (48x48), or a 5m long Millennium Falcon, or a Guiness World record Notre Dame :) or, my favorite, 7m long Coral Reef (all fo mentione dcan be found here on Eurobricks) In this very moment, I am in the process of preparing to build a 2x8 AD&D diorama that has two leyers (ground and Underdark), is 3m high and has some amazing minifigs in it :) I will start building within few days, but I will savior it and enjoy every moment (meaning, no deadlines, frequent bricklink orders for minifig accessories, and I will re-read Derfel Cardan;s tutorials :) this is my plan :D his tutorials can be found here on Eurobricks also :)

Angeli started following LArgest LEGO mosaic and LEGO world records
-
that is impressive :) I also never had dark age :) when you say baseplate, is it 32x32 or 48x48? My largest diorama is 12x12 (48x48) (or 18x18 32x32), but that being said, I also have, built and exhibited at the same time: another 12x12 (all my measurements ar ein 48x48) castle diorama, one 12x6, three 1x2 diorama, one 2x4, five 4x4 dioramas, and three 8x4 dioramas, all generci castle stuff - which is 550 baseplates under castle stuff, so if I was to connect them on table (and I built them so they can be connected), it is 23x24 (48x48) base plates large castle :) with at least 10 towers that are over 2m tall :) (2.4m is my standard height when I build tall) - or around 9x9 m, or 81 m2 :D It would be a lot of logistical effort to gather those dioramas from events, and pain to produce so many tables, but if that would be world record, I would make an extra effort to do it :) But I don;t know what is the largest castle diorama in the world :) Plus I am building another 8x4 diorama in this very moment (actually, it will be 2x8, but two levels:) AD&D, with all the new stuff coming from TLG, inspiaring me :) Do you have pictures of that large castle that was part of project support? (btw, second best support from TLG, right after PBB (boxes:)
-
Thank you :) Brickset is good for sets, but, for example me, I have some amount of sets, not more than few hundred, and most of them are small and medium, but I have around 6000 kg of LEGO bricks, with around 40.000 minifigs, mostly in castle gear, one of my favorite LEGO themes. Now, that 6000 kg or those 40.000 I know it is a lot, but how far is it from the one that has the most? I also have around 200 dioramas built, in diferent sizes, alive in this very moment, surface of around 2500 baseplates (48x48) - how that compares with the one that has the most? I always tried to compare to get sense of how actually much that is, but when I spoke with guy in Serbia who was suposed to have next biggest amount of bricks, he didn;t had more than coupl hudred of kg - I expected at least 2 tons, by the way he was talking. who has the largest acquarium made from LEGO bricks (but everything, not real sand and animal made from LEGO here and there), who built and how big it is, the largest castle diorama, both firm and AFOL(s), largest spaceship (I've built 5,1m long Millenium Falcon, for example, I have seen some SW ships that are 7m long :D I believe in Australia - my next moc is 12m long Warhammer 40k ship - will it be the longest? I can easily make it meter two larger, if it would mean world record - and so on :)
-
that is impressive. How much do you have? Irony aside, of course, only weak use irony, and AFOLs aren;t weak, they are creative :)
-
which is why I asked people to tell me what they know on this subject. What they heard, and with so many AFOLs, I am sure I will get all the info in no time.
-
of course, I did all that before asking here. I mentioned, there are some records, like person who has most unique minifigs - but who has most amount of minifigs? and so on.
-
I've seen some records online, but I always see the same ones, who has most sets, most unique minifigs etc. but I would like to know more: who has most amount of minifigs, who has most amount of bricks (person, not firm), who has built the lartgest mosaic, largest Castle diorama, largest Steampunk diorama and so one So, who has most amount of minifigs? Who built thew largest minifig diorama of any theme?
-
This is the largest I have found: "At the LEGO House in Billund, Denmark, a team from Fairy Bricks organised the building of the largest every LEGO mosaic. Celebrating the history of the LEGO Group, the 2,585 baseplate mosaic features significant milestones in the company’s history. Classic minfiigures, the Friends mini-dolls, the wooden duck and Star Wars all made it onto the design. It took six days of building, two for LEGO employees and four for the general public, in which individuals built as many small plates of bricks as they liked, which the Fairy Bricks team then added to the larger design. Throughout the week, employees from the LEGO Group and visitors to the attraction got involved with clipping down bricks. The finished mosaic measured 12 by 14 metres and used over 600,000 bricks." (On picture Jan and Kev:) Is there a bigger one?
-
hi guys, what is the largest LEGO mosaic? I;ve been reasearchign online, but can;t find definitive answer. I have it in my mind that Fairy Bricks (UK) and TLG hold the record, but can;t find it online I also found 80.48 meter square is held by The Toy Museum in Ohio, USA So, what is the bigest LEGO mosaic, size (sqr meters, or baseplates, or studs)?
-
the Staer Wars one is done by frined from RLUG RoLug, from Romania, literary week or two ago :) Check their facebook page :) to actually make it bigger then theirs diorama only needs to be 18x18 :) which is 324 baseplates I was thinking of making 12x12 as a first thought, but second option was 40x8 (48x48) (that is more than 15 m long), for easier displey build --- Regarding LOTR one (not really LOTR but ok, "inspired by", but they put everything inside, on 0:10 you can clearly see Palace Cinema modular, with all modern stuff on it (lower right corner)) they are hugely blowing up their numbers. that surface they say they have is around 1326 baseplates. If they really used 150 million of pieces, than each baseplate would have 113.000 bricks. If the use only 1x1 plates to build everything (and they didn;t seen from video), as one baseplate has 48x48 studs = 2304 studs, it would mean the whole diorama would be lifted by 49 plates (which is little more trhan 16 cm high) I have A LOT of experience with dioramas, and I estimate 1/100 of what is mentioned was used, so around one and a half million bricks. Also, it is not all LEGO, and not all real lego, but copycat products (check on video 0:10 that statue is not LEGO) 0:41 those flags are not original LEGO, but that is ok I still find the whole build impressive and like it, and even thought it could be that not everything is LEGO, this can be my Nemesis :D ...so 1440 baseplates would be biggest fantasy castle diorama 60x24 48x48 that means my diorama needs to be by 22.8 m x 9 m It would cost me around 140.000 eur, and I would need 12-24 months to build it
