  1. Copmike could adopt three of you!
  2. Copmike, my understanding is that the family pass is exactly that, so unless there are three additional mini-copmikes lurking as eurobrick event attendees I don't think you can use the 4 for 3 option like I could.
  3. Online is cheaper - there were other posts re discounted tickets - I don't know if these are still available. I've just ordered my 4 Merlin passes for the price of three online for the Fenz's.
  4. 2 were for me/Bfenz
  5. Not sure what you mean. I am buying light bricks not selling them!!
  6. We arrive in Munich around 10.00am on Wednesday but have a few detours to make en-route to Gunzburg. We may also go directly to the park for a few hours so that would mean an arrival time around 6-7pm unless plans change.
  7. 8. My local Smyths has series 7 and 9 aswell as 10.
  9. Rolli, I'd be interested in the ghost set
  10. I have a spare Judo fighter. The others are the relay guy and archer
  11. Are there any particular ones that you are looking for? I have a few duplicates.
  12. Would anyone living in a country with a BR store be able to acquire one of the BR soldier minifigures? See this Brickset thread if no-one knows what I am referring to. http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=6420 I'll settle in cash or can swap a Team GB minifig.

I've now reduced the height. Here is the next version - livery still to be added. IMG_5973 by Dfenz, on Flickr

Thanks for the feedback. I will look into reducing the height a little before finishing and adding decals. I'm happy with the wheel size even if my LEGO wheel range is rather limited.

First go at a Bus Eireann - livery, reg. plates etc. still to be added. As usual for me, its 7 studs wide. IMG_5968 by Dfenz, on Flickr IMG_5967 by Dfenz, on Flickr
  16. Given our children's diets and short legs Bfenz and I will probably drop in and out of the tour once we arrive in Munich, meeting at some points and not others. We've been to Munich several times before and the Obletter store and the department store across the road from it are usually top of our hit list. No need to take the U2 line to Reim Arcadien if the other LEGO store is on the agenda then. Toysrus and the LEGO store sound especially good.
  17. Have the 'non-pool' rooms already been booked? If so, how can we use the online system as the rooms will already have been reserved by Eurobricks?
  18. This viaduct by Lostcarpark uses the same approach. It sits on its customised wooden base and is lined up with whatever tables are in use. http://www.brick.ie/...ck-college-2011
  19. Even so, the prices in the stores can differ as I've discovered on previous trips to Munich
  20. If there's enough of us would a hired bus up to Munich in the morning and back in the evening make more sense? Transport to/from the Reim Arcaden mall and city centre by U2 tube is easy. Whatever about others, personally I can't see myself driving or parking late in Munich city centre, where I've never driven in, or staying late in a beer hall that I can't have a beer or two in. Not exactly a bundle of fun for the drivers. I'd probably drive back to Gunzburg and enjoy a few beers back at base.
  21. The Reim Arcaden store is on the opposite side of the city to Gunzburg but is accessible by ring-road easily enough or from the city on the U2 subway. Usually I visit that store on the way from the airport. When last I visited there was also a Miller dept. store in the centre that often sold sets at prices cheaper than the LEGO store. As I recall posting on another Munich shopping thread, there are some very decent toystores and department stores near to the central station (or accessible via the U2 line from Reim Arcaden) which could enable a LEGO-style pub crawl. Whatever option is chosen parking should be considered given we're driving from Gunzburg to the city and most of us will be from 'out-of-town'.
  22. Holodoc I suggested Flat 2 because I understood the other Flats 1 -3 were already reserved by the admins. Maybe I misunderstood the first post. I'd be perfectly happy to take one of the other larger flats 1-3 if available. David
  23. Its a small point but Bfenz is a Eurobricks member and AFOL in her own right - best not to let her see she's a +1!! Also we'll have a hired car and know the well travelled way to the LEGO store. We might have room for an extra person but don't bank on it just yet - it depends on the size of the car we hire.
  24. Hi Holodoc Can you please book flat 2 for Dfenz,Bfenz, Alfenz and Amfenz please. Wednesday night to Saturday night inclusive. thanks David
