  1. Where's the "fastest Technic RC set ever made" ....
  2. Someone got a speed build already.
  3. If you don't plan to do a sliding cabin then it's possible to have fake engine because it's in front of the cabin, while the drive train goes from behind.
  4. Indeed, Technic 10327. It looks very cool and menacing and I cant wait to reveal it.
  5. Some observation: - In real reach stacker the area behind the cabin is usually as empty as possible to not obstruct the view of the handler when the vehicle drives backward, so I think it's better to put the HOG steering behind the model. This is one compact arrangement to do that. - The container grappler and supposedly the container too will add a massive weight to the front of the boom, so it's more stable to connect the rear and through 28z turntables rather than an axle.
  6. Yes because I live in VN and shipping cost is a lot. Pop quiz for you: What do you think the thing inside the photo above is
  7. The bricks are arriving today and I can finally test build all of my creations I designed since the beginning of the year. I've been aching to build this one.
  8. Im not gonna try to turn this set into a garbage truck. What I mean was that I was gonna buy the panels in reddish orange to build the garbage truck I want.
  9. I do think the door's slant is formed by a new connector. #3 is steeper.
  10. I've always wanted to build a medium sized garbage truck, and the tanks of garbage trucks in my country only come in 3 colors: green, blue, and orange. Since I wanna build the rear loader version I need the 5x11 tapered panel. Unfortunately that panel is not available in any of those colors, until today. Thanks to the new panels in this set I can finally build something like this.
  11. What if there is no 4-speed gearbox in this model
  12. 3 stud slope or 2 stud slope?
  13. Yeah I have no idea how to do the A pillars at the moment
  14. I've decided that I'll go with the liftarm solutions. After trying many arrangements I finally found one that works. Looks pretty Ok from the side.
  15. I've been fiddling with the Mini Zetros lately. At the moment I'm stuck with the roof. The Zetros's roof has distinctive slopes on both sides, and I want to capture that as well. The easiest solution is the 2x3 curved panel. The problem is that they look more like dog's ears from certain perspectives. However, it doesn't look bad from above, which is the point where the model is viewed from most of the time. Despite that, I still don't really like this approach. I did try another approach which involves liftarms. This approach looks much better as it both creates the sloping sides of the roof as well as the sloping walls. But it's difficult to reinforce, and it leaves the back of the model with a gap that I don't know how to fill. Before you ask, small panels and bionicle teeth don't fit. Any suggestion?
  16. I guess that kind of question really TIRES Jim out.
  17. Sorry I didnt mean to show off. You mentioned the possibility of using thin cylinders for lift, so I was thinking that you can use some of the techniques I used in my reach stacker which also used thin cylinders for lift. I already deleted my inappropriate post.
  18. I bought the first 3 supercars and I didn't buy the Ferrari. I thought Sian was the peak and Ferrari is just Sian 2.0 so I thought I was done with these supercars, but this McLaren looks so nice it makes me contemplate buying it.

  20. I think the Mercedes will be either black or blue according to common color schemes of that vehicle, but I'm digressing.
  21. @Danil that image has nothing to do with this thread and it's not from lego, can you please remove it?
  22. That makes me wonder: what are the new batch of purple and turquoise parts are for?
