  1. I'd say no planes. In other words, that idea doesn't really fly for me.
  2. Just wait til someone submits a kinetic statue driven by rolling wheels!
  3. It's OK I don't intend to use that project anyway. I have already gotten significant progress with the Compact Backhoe. I have another question regarding this. I usually design function sheets for my creations, like this one. To save time and cost I use rendered photos. For the contest I will build a physical model, of course. But am I allowed to use rendered photos in the photos of the entry? Or at least can I use rendered photos for the photos showing the functions only, while still using photos of the real model for full body shots?
  4. What about the projects that I only showed parts of in public before? Like in my Technic corner I showed a cabin of something but I never showed that whole thing.
  5. Is there any part or combination of parts that creates a 2 module long handle bar with two negative stud holders? Like this part but only 2 studs long.
  6. I thought that piece was discontinued even.
  7. Another Technic "reveal"! https://www.instagram.com/p/C8WtjwPIii8/
  8. Those who follow my Technic corner will know that I have a particular liking for shrinking model. And for my next act, I'm gonna shrink... my own model! Last summer I created this half-backhoe out of 42157. I've always meant to go back to it and build the excavator arm but I haven't had the chance. Not to mention, at that scale it is hard to make a stable and structurally sound sliding mechanism, as it will needs quite a lot of bracing. But for the smaller model it might be feasible. The sliding mechanism is achieved through a scissor linkage that I developed for the sliding cabin in the Reach Stacker in the Container Play Set MOC.
  9. I predict that one day TLG will release a 3 stud or 5 stud gear rack that's 2 stud tall, like the 1x14 gear rack. That part will allows building straight racks in any length. Perhaps it will appear in a mobile crane set. Currently the only way to extend a gear rack is to use system bricks with system racks.
  10. Why maximum six and not maximum eight :( Also can I use one of my works in progress for the contest?
  11. Those tyres and pointy shape make the model look like a Tesla Cybetruck.
  12. This year's supercar is coming in October.
  13. Is it safe to assume that only new parts are missing?
  14. I'm betting that in the next 12 hours Racing Brick willl have a video about this "set"
  15. The next Lego Technic "set" in 2024 has been revealed! It's .... https://www.instagram.com/p/C7bMHEbIPji/ a polybag-sized model that doesn't even come in a polybag and doesn't even have its own name or set number. Hence the set in quote marks earlier.
  16. Only these are noteworthy. Hopefully @R0Sch can get some more clues on how the set is built.
  17. I just realized I haven't explained why I'm so into mini models. In the designer's videos for Technic back in 2015 or sth, Markus Kossman said Technic is all about the cool function, or at least something along that line. And Technic sets these days dont have many cool functions that they used to. There are still sets that cater to the Technic-head (or function-head) like me, But I feel that the lineup is being diluted with the stuff that I'm not really interested in. So if the official models don't provide what I need, it's time I create them myself!
  18. I have a tipper that you may like
  19. I see illegal building techniques, I dismiss.
  20. Welcome to my humble home! I don't get posts from other people often in here, thanks for dropping by. As for the question, some time later this year. And it will be much more than a simple 42082 in a smaller scale.
