  1. Yep I don't understand why a Garbage Truck has not appeared in Technic either. It is easily recognizable and can include 4-5 functions with LAs or Pneumatics. Perhaps it will appear in 2017 or 2018. I don't thin the 8479 Barcode Set can qualify as a Garbage Truck. To me it is more about showing the barcode set than showing a realistic, functional model. That front garbage truck doesn't have a bin to begin with. Besides, there are 2 kinds of garbage truck. One that pick up the bin with front claw, and one that take in garbage from the back. The 8479 model is based on the front garbage truck. The latter kind has never appeared.
  2. The annual flagship sets receive "special" treatments here in Vietnam. For big sets like 42042, their prices in Vietnam is 2 million VND higher than their original prices (don't freak out, the actual monetary unit in VN is 1000 VND, not 1 VND). For examples, the original price of the 42042 in VND is around 3 mil VND, and it is sold in Vietnam for 5 mil. The 2 million difference is quite acceptable, because when I order Lego sets from a shipping company, the service fee is also around 2 mil VND. But, for 2H flagships, for some unknown reasons, the difference is 4 mil VND. Arocs' original price in VND is around 5 mil VND and it is sold in VN for 9 mil VND, which is already higher than middle-class average monthly income. If the IP Car turns out to cost 300 EUR, I think it won't be able to breathe Vietnamese air.
  3. What can the BWE's B model be? With tracks, conveyor belt, and bucket wheel, I think a trench digger is most likely.
  4. When I have this BWE in hands, I'll be holding it around my house pretending to be a maniac murderer with a chainsaw.
  5. So there will be 5 functions: - Conveyor belt - Bucket wheel - Rotating - Lifting arm - Caterpillar tracks In real life, can the bucket wheel and the conveyor belt work independently or simultaneously? Also, is it more likely to have independent tracks like 8043 or linked tracks like 42042?
  6. I think that soon Lego will have to make models based on new vehicles; they just can't do old vehicles forever? For example, next year a bucket wheel excavator and a wheel excavator will make their debut (as far as I know those two have never appeared as Technic models before). EDIT: Wheel excavator already appeared. So what else can debut in the future? I can think of: - Waste truck - Steamroller - Cement truck A steamroller and a cement truck can be 2 models of the same set because they both have big cylindrical parts. Added: - Pile driver - Tunnel boring machine - Asphalt paver - Front shovel excavator - Street sweeper Already appeared: - Tracked dumper - Forklift - Road grader - Wheel excavator
  7. Check again in this picture: http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/original/001/020/354/ba2.jpg The shooter in Kopaka's left hand connects to his hand with a 1.5M axle connector (http://brickset.com/parts/design-6553). It looks like the connector goes all the way into his hand. The 2015 hand part is 2M thick but only 1M can go in from either side because of a block in the middle. So Kopaka has a new hand piece, I guess.
  8. So Tahu has both arm swinging and torso swiveling? I know he has to has torso swiveling ever since I saw that 4M axle at the end of his right sword. Wait but if he has arm swinging then the creature can't attach to him, because of the upper knob?
  9. Any idea how the wheelie function can be achieved using the M-motor? Just plug it directly to the rear wheels? I don't think the M-motor can generate enough torque.
  10. Whenever you see Jim post something, you know for sure some people are digressing.
  11. http://board.ttvpodcast.com/uploads/db5640/original/3X/3/a/3acb5e50f665d0e2667c8c76cc92f59fcae5f38d.jpg Tahu's right sword has a 4M axle while his left one does not. Maybe they can be joined to form a staff? Which means Tahu can swivel his torso?
  12. As for the battery box of the Helicopter, I think it is right under the rotors. There is a vertical white beam protruding right behind the vertical orange beam, which can serves as the battery box switch.
  13. At the front wheel mudguard of the fire rescue, there seems to be an axle in yellow?
  14. Not really new seats, they are the new L-panels used in the rear of the Mine Loader and Hydroplane.
  15. Anyone has any idea where the battery box of the Copter might be? The 5x11 panels look like they are attached tightly to another, unlike those in the Cargo Plane. My guess is that it either lies in the cargo bay, which requires opening bottom / rear cargo doors, or lies right above the cockpit, because those panels up there seem most detachable.
  16. The mini turntable doesn't fit inside the big turntable.
  17. My guess is that one rotor is connected to a mini turntable and one is connected to an axle going through the mini turntable.
  18. I was thinking of getting a 9396, but the information about the upcoming copter made me change my mind. At first I intended to save my budget for the Xerion, Volvo, BWE, but it seems I'd have to cut my spending further. Sometimes I hate Lego for knowing how to make me spend more money. And I can't seem to imagine how can it be 80cm long?! That's even longer than the 42043 B model with trailer!!
  19. In the Heavy Lift Helicopter description, there are "cargo bay" and "loading ramp". Are these two the same thing? If they are 2 different things, can anyone show a picture of a helicopter with both of them?
  20. It looks like a bunch of cactus.
