My prediction: as kids lose interest in physical toys, sales will decline. Within 10 years, superheroes will get stale. In 20 or fewer, Star Wars will become unpopular due to overproduction of films. When these three events intersect, Lego will crash big time. Maybe the company will survive, but severely cut back production and just focus on the very little kids. As interest will Fade, not Disappear, the crash will come as a surprise to consumers.

The easiest way is probably to ignore the prequels when considering the OT. There are other gaps in logic, mostly small things (but they add up), that make justifying the differences in your mind a chore. Or, assume the ROTS scene is a time-jump 15 years in the future, because in all honesty that shot on the bridge would be great for the opening scene of Rouge One.

Owning a bootleg Shazam and Bizarro, I can say that while quality is not Lego-good, having the figures fills the "hole" that CC exclusives bored into my soul.

That's from an old April fools where a bunch of words and phrases were filtered. Some curse words were always filtered to "megablocks" and so on April fools a ton of common phrases got filters. I had thought most were changed back after the Angry Birds theme was announced, yet Angry Birds had a filter to say "Grumpy Sparrows." Also, it's "ugh" to express disgust and "u g g" to express a shoe brand.

Maybe 2017 is the year that Star Wars men go the way of Superheroes women and move out of the same-hair club. Han's confirmed (albeit probably in 2016), Lando is in a set, and Lego has yet to do a black mans hairpiece other than Finn's since Finn's first appearance, and Obi-Wan in the land speeder could be given the Agent Chase hair in grey. That would leave only ESB/ROTJ Luke as having the traditional hairpiece.
