2011 City sets
What I like most of the new sets is definitely that awesome new plane which is, coincidentally enough, very similar to 6368 Jet Airliner from the mid-eighties. The new Canine (K9) mold with print is great too, although the previously-issued dog is a bit more classic. I still need to get that one in gray. (The Grimm) Also great is the (rather) small Space subtheme. The buggy and the space shuttle seem to be very cool. Well, the big base is also great but I'll most likely not buy it as I can already imagine the price tag! Cheers!

Spider-man FT
What do you mean by "pinstriped Indy"? The one in the gray suit? Because it's not actually pinstriped... Cheers!

Congrats to prateek, EB's first Arch Duke!
Go prateek go! 8000 posts are seriously much...

Conquering the cupcake
Great job on the cupcake! What parts did you use for it? How in hell did you manage to create that realistic icing effect? You probably needed a lot of black round slopes, didn't you? Seriously, though, very nice photography! The scene looks really good... and somewhat vintage! Good placement of minifigs.

[MOC] Dead Men's Glory
Thanks. What I like most about the MOC is the photography with those awesome vintage minifigs, to be honest! I'm not using any special camera... just an ordinary DigiCam: Canon PowerShot A590 IS The idea with Dark Tan is grand, thanks for the suggestion! I should include those parts in the order! Trans-clear doesn't look that bad in my opinion. It's just a test for realistic foam, though...

[MOC] Dead Men's Glory
This is because I did not yet post a link! Pressing the 'enter' key made me create the topic too early. The pics arrive in 3 minutes. They are here now!

[MOC] Dead Men's Glory
Ladies and gentlemen, today I'll present to you: Dead Men's Glory. It's my first fully-completed MOC since the sinister Dark Ages. Considering the limited selection of pieces I had at my disposal for doing this, I like it very much. I've completely run short of 1x1 tan round plates... calls for a BL order, doesn't it? Click for pictures! But let me warn you: clicking on the link takes you to a world of love and hate, rise and fall, rage and grace. Once seen it cannot be unseen! Actually not... but it does depict and evolution. A dark one! *scary expression* Comments are much appreciated! Cheers!

What did you buy today?
Didn't buy anything, but opened... 6009 Black Knight - really great set, certainly one of my favourite sets of all time now. The horse-mounted knight looks perfect and the medieval face along with the printed armor under his real armor gives him such a classic look... 8091 Republic Swamp Speeder - superb also! I'm extremely pleased with my Lego raid of today. The steering mechanism is very neat and finally, Barris Offee and my first ordinary Phase II clone are awesome.

Hello Eurobricks! Hola!
I hope the issue gets resolved soon! That made me smile. :)

What are you reading?
That does explain a lot. I was just throwing in some humble bits of humor there. Sorry if that wasn't clear! NO! I AM NOT FROM AUSTRALIA! I AM NOT PUTTING UP WITH THAT! Seriously, you wouldn't believe how often Austria gets confused with Australia. That's so annoying. "I'm from Austria" - "Oh, you're from Australia, niceee!" Cheers!

Star Wars: Clone Wars Brickfilm
Sony has messed it all up again. Now I can't watch the freaking video. Nice work, Korean dudes! Why in the world do they think they could just like protect their contents? That's highly illegal and too clever for me to handle. Maybe you could upload it to flickr for us poor Europeans? I hope the file size restrictions for videos are not to small for this over there.

What's the best Minifigure ever made?
Agreed, they're pretty cute.

Walt Disney's Aladdin
Your spot-on Aladin customs make me want a licensed Aladin theme! Wouldn't be that bad, would it?

What's the best Minifigure ever made?
It does but there seems to be a misunterstanding. I meant Episode II clones! The ones that came with the original Republic Gunship. No BP for them unfortunately. :(

Winter Village : The Leaky Tank Pub
You're Leaky Tank Pub looks great! Or to say it in ta langue maternelle: je le trouve vraiment fascinant! All those small details are lovely! On the whole, your MOC can be described with . The atmosphere is..., well, it's hard to describe but I really like it. Une très bon entrée. Maybe I shouldn't write so much French. I'll probably find myself banned within a month... Cheers!

Greetings from TASTER
Good day TASTER and your map with famous buildings is incredible, to say the least... I imagine it was quite a hit at whatever convention or fair you set it up. :) Enpaz

MOC: SWAT Truck
An awesome truck! Should be frontpaged if you ask me. Who doesn't enjoy a small but mighty MOC every now and then? Quite good job on the SWAT dudes too. Is the "SWAT" lettering on the car a custom sticker?

REVIEW: 6368 Jet Airliner
Thanks, I appreciate that! In celebration of my forthcoming promotion to citizen there will be another review... of a special set! Which I have yet to choose... Edit: Goddamnit! I am a citizen already.

MOC: 'The Town Chapel'
I can't resist the feeling that this could be a Lego set from the 80s! Has a certain classic feeling to it... yes, it's bland. At second sight I noticed that there had been an update below. Now it doesn't look like an 80s set anymore at all! Great progress! I like it, the MOC and the fact that it's foldable!

Time Passes Slowly in the Shadow of the Sphinx
Nice! I love the evolution from built to being discovered! The shape of the Sphinx is also quite appropriate... I like the excessive use of tan parts. Somehow I have a soft spot for desert MOCs. Cheers!

16th Century Spanish Galleon
Looks really good! The hull is very-well sculpted!

Bootleg Pirate LEGO sets
It megablockin' is when you are using the term "megabl0x" as a general expression for an object of hate!

Movies you can't unsee!
BRÜNO with Sasha Cohen a thousand times! Dunno whether this was shown in English cinemas too, but this particular movie could be considered the origin of our dear friend, the expression "WTF", an abbreviation for... I think I had better leave that sentence unfinished... for various reasons... *awkward silence* ... *crickets chirping* ... *western hay balls rolling around*... Hey, I've just included all of the indicators of awkwardness in one sentence, give me some credit men! Seriously though , BRÜNO is some weird sh**. Enpaz

What are you reading?
@Cutlass: uhhhmm yes, basically I could imagine Animal Farm torturing 10-year-olds but they are too young for the content anyway. Although it's not the most thrilling or gripping book I really like it. It's not like I've got an animal fetish or something yet the message the book communicates is "valuable". And... HEY! It's certainly not "abominably boring" whatever this should mean. I'm personally offended. PS: If the "pupil's torturers" of England are books like Orwell's Animal Farm then you should consider yourself lucky! You cannot imagine what everyone's forced to read in Austria... now that's what I'd call abominably boring (:
