PAHAB - The human size robot
Enpaz replied to shutinc's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling/signed so hard! This makes me recognize the extreme potential of Lego! And great job of utilising it, shutinc! I am blown away...

Hello Eurobricks! Hola!
Welcome! I love Spain and Spanish! Such a beautiful language... qué tal? Yo estoy muy bien. I'm seriously pleased by having you here, Blastem! And best of luck with changing your username... I think the mods should do this for you. I mean, you could also have just deleted your account and created a new one called "Blastem" which would have resulted in just another inactive account on here. They should make an example in order to encourage such friendly behaviour of yours. Encantado, Blastem!

What's the best Minifigure ever made?
I agree that this one's pretty neat! I actually like the old Epi II one better, though. What do you think about those, the older ones I mean? They are quite cool, aren't they? More plastic with the eye slit and such.

New BrickArms Prototypes from NILTC Christmas Show
It is kinda off-topic, but could anyone provide me with a BrickLink link to the head used for the MG34-bearer? It looks so perfectly German, that's pretty neat.

What's the best Minifigure ever made?
Are you kidding us? I mean, I totally respect your opinion on this but seriously that's one fig I really don't understand to be a favourite of anyone. That face is awkward if you ask me. THOSE EYES ARE CREEPING ME OUT! It's interesting just how much opinions sometimes differ. No offense in any way!

New BrickArms Prototypes from NILTC Christmas Show
I certainly love the M34 and will most definitely get it. The new M4 is also great, yet the MG34 is cooler. I don't get anything out of the Sterling, though. It's a good Lego replica of the real Sterling gun but I don't get anything out of the latter either. (correct use of the word 'either'?) Cheers!

Bootleg Pirate LEGO sets
Original red and white BSB looks better. Although I have to admit that the design of the piano is spot-on, I would never buy it. Build it yourself as a MOC if you've got courage! Enpaz

What are you reading?
I've just finished Animal Farm and it's . A good read I'd recommend to every single one of you! No, not you, look away IMMEDIATELY, but all of the others! On a side note, I want to encourage you to read Robert Harris. The Cicero series (consisting of historically perfectly accurate, yet very entertaining and thrilling novels) and Vaterland (Fatherland) are really top-notch. Who of you has already been reading books by him?

Lego logo made of minifigs
Just imagine stepping on that carpet and walking around on it a bit back and forth! Hear the Lego breaking and cracking and bursting in your mind...

What's the best Minifigure ever made?
That's a good topic! For me, I really can't decide on only one because there have been so many timelessly awesome ones. As Brickdoctor already threw in, the Forestmen are fantastic. Also, I really love the classic ninjas! The redcoat admiral is pretty much at the top of my "best minifigs" list. Additionally, the classic town pilot of this set is fabulous. So much about the older seasons. Speaking of the rather new ones, there are a few genius ones aswell: in Star Wars the Stormtrooper, Darth Vader of course (great fig!), the old Episode II clones (even though I don't own any, yet will certainly do sometime, they seem to be really nice) and the expensive Jango Fett. The new Boba Fett (along with the new Death Watch mandos, as it seems) is really, really, really great too. Oh, and do not forget the yellow-striped Phase II clone (Starcorps)! Maybe not just as classy as Darth Vader and comrades, but definitely a glorious fig. The best minifigs outside from Star Wars would have to be Indiana Jones in full gear and... ´*drumroll* this guy... no, just kidding, I mean the Spartan of course. I'd almost say the Spartan is the best fig ever. I don't, though, because there are all those others that can only be described with Bang! too. Cheers! Let's let the discussion rage.

I pretty much have a soft spot for action themes too. Welcome! Somehow I enjoy replying to "My name is..." threads: It's just so entertaining... am I weird? Cheers!

Review: 7985 Temple of Atlantis
Thanks for the Swedish great review! I find the set excellent. The pinnacle of the Atlantis line in my opinion. The Ancient Greece/Rome architecture is really nice. I also like the function! At any rate, the set's also a great parts pack. Overall, a must-buy for me.

Scorpion King
Totally badass! Good job! Though I think I'd swap the hairpiece, Tamina's wig does look a bit feminine... and it's brown. Have you thought about using the classic black ponytail? Or black Dastan hair? Enpaz

I don't know and it does sound strange to me too. However, I have to say this is really not my field of expertise.

Lego prank call
I already know it, but it's great anyway! Definitely worth sharing. "How about brick coverage?" "Keep on brickin'" - "What?" Hilarious!

Set Restoration: Original (vintage) or new parts?
I would say, use your childhood ones as long as they are not badly discoloured. Bricks scratched-up are one thing, but white bricks almost tan or light grey bricks almost yellow (?) are an entirely different matter. That's my opinion about this. Cheers!
- Which set should I buy?

Two Questions
Are you sure Lego wouldn't be allowed to use the Maersk colour for non-Maersk sets? I didn't know that Maersk Blue was patented. That's interesting. Cheers!
