  1. After buying my house a couple years ago, I replaced the washer/dryer. I found an old Forestmen minifig under the washer, in perfect condition.
  2. Death Star. Finally.

    30282 Super Secret Police Enforcer
  4. Must buy: Death Star before it's gone Parisian Restaurant because it's amazing Haunted House before it's gone as well Mos Eisley Cantina
  5. I found the 30201 Ghost polybags in the Halloween section at Target tonight. They had lots of them.
  6. Most plastics off-gas for their entire existence. That is most likely what you're smelling. It can be very toxic and dangerous to your health. High quality ABS plastic off-gasses very little, if at all. Your Lego should be okay but the bag it's stored in could be a problem. I would take it outside to open it.
  7. 2011 was light compared to 2010. I haven't really kept track but I would guess I spent between $500-$1000.
  8. A few weeks ago I found a 30132 Jack Sparrow promo at TRU for a penny.

There's nothing fancy about the tray. It's just cheap plastic.
  10. I attended the Minneapolis Kidsfest last night with my son. There were plenty of things to do for him but not much for the AFOLs like me. The one thing that made it worth it for me was the good deals that could be had in the LEGO store. All Prince Of Persia sets were on DEEP discount. Nearly 70% off retail. I picked up 7573 Battle of Alamut and 7571 Fight for the Dagger for a total of $34. And thanks to Groupon, we got a good discount on admission.

Rushed to the LEGO store after work today with cash in hand. Aaagh. They didn't get their shipment yet. Ah well, at least the PAB wall was stocked with some nice stuff. Not a complete waste of a trip. I guess I should've called beforehand.

Looks like I'll be stalking my Lego store for the next week or two. I hope it's true.
  13. They have the King's Carriage in stock at the Bloomington, MN TRU. None of the other new ones though.
  14. I stumbled upon this at the Mall of America LEGO store last night. It looks very nice. It might be my favorite of the Architecture series so far.
  15. The LEGO Store at Mall of America in MN has Frog Rush, Banana Balance and Meteor Strike.
