Got two packs of Disney minifigs.. Got a Mickey (hooray!) and a second Stitch (Boo.. I love the figure but really didn't need a second one, I was feeling for the Cheshire, no idea how I missed those ears!)

That's the best version of the lot too.

Got my first batch of Disney minifigs. Careful handpicking yielded Minnie and Donald for the SO, and Stitch for me. Good start. Now I want Buzz and Cheshire.

UCS maybe?

I found a mint unopened 70705 Galaxy Squad Bug Obliterator set at an obscure online shop at WHAT I think is SRP.. Is this set worth collecting? Is it a good set for bricks? Would be happy to hear if you could advise me a bit, I used to collect a bit of classic space as a kid but haven't bought any Space/Sci-Fi sets since coming out of my Dark Ages (except for Star Wars..) and have no idea if Galaxy Squad is actually good or not.

Spectacular series.. I have to get the Imp Boy, Penguin Suit and Banana Suit. That leaves me with two more to pick from my usual 5 per series.. The Sam Fisher wannabe, and the Boxer lady is also cool.. But the Rogue or the Pirate, also look nice, and the blue haired space girl is pretty unique. Also, the hiker would look great with the Creator outdoor sets I have.. Oh dear.. So hard to pick!

Finally available in my area, horray! I'll probably get about 10 of these, the more I look the more I like some of them.

Let me see.. First Order Special Forces TIE 13,5c/pc 4 Minifigs TIE STRIKER 12,9c/pc 4 Minifigs Poe's X-Wing Starfighter 12,4c/pc 4 Minifigs U-Wing Starfighter 12,1c/pc 5 Minifigs Color me surprised.

Tydirium is a near UCS quality displayset with iconic figures, FO transport is a meh playset with lots of FO stormtrooper figures. Tydirium wins.

Yeah the Troop Transport is a sweet ship.. I'll definitely be getting it before year end, hopefully I'll find one at 20% off or so..

Wow, even with the instructions this has been an exercise in futility. Near impossible, at least for me. Is there an easier way to do this maybe? Export the part lists from LDD models seperately and compare those? Can LDD do this? EDIT: Yes LDD can do this. Apparently, the builds are nothing alike. Of the 389 pieces that make up the Advanced x1, 318 are not included in the Advanced Prototype. Here's a list of differences if anyone else is interested. I will instead try to go by Geebee's photos. There are a MILLION things wrong with the PT, literally, and a million people have put it in words better than I could.. But even if you put aside the fact that the story in general is a mess that makes absolutely no sense, the characters are all over the place, the dialogue is attrocious, the acting is abysmal, it is still not fun to watch as a visual spectacle. The fact that George Lucas chose to film a series like the PT where 80% of the screen at any given scene is CGI with a 1080p digital camera makes it unbearable to watch for me. I want to gouge my eyes out with a blunt spoon.

You and me both.. Even Rogue One sets are lacklustre for me. I may eventually buy the U-Wing but otherwise my money will probably be spent on older Star Wars sets I lack or more Creator/City.

That one actually is from Clone Wars methinks.. But that was one of the best sets of the show indeed, I want to get it one day.. I was in my dark ages at the time it was around unfortunately :(

I feel like doing some polybag hunting on eBay; what are the nicest SW polybags out there? I have the AT-DP and love it, stuff in that scale would be great.

Yeah the Blue Pilot is kind of cool but I guess it's in the U-Wing set so I may end up owning it anyway..

Off the top of my mind, chronologically: PT: What Prequel Trilogy? OT: An Obi-Wan Kenobi's Hut or Yoda's Hut (granted this was kind of done with the 4502 X-Wing set) would be great for a nice display model and some cool minifigures. A Death Star Prison Block set with play elements for saving the princess, possibly with a Trash Compactor set to go with it, would be great. I think a diorama set like Mini Death Star Assault with a mini Death Star (with a trench) and a lot of mini X-Wings, Y-Wings, TIE-Fighters and a TIE Advanced X1 would be super great. They seem to be on a Hoth roll lately so Quantum Storm (First transport is away!) would be cool. A Star Destroyer Bridge from the iconic scenes in Empire Strikes Back Cloud City Dining Room is a great diorama set that never got made. Cloud City Duel is a no brainer that never got made either The Nebulon-B Medical Frigate Redemption would make a midi sized or full size capital ship if not a UCS. Interestingly enough pretty much EVERYTHING I can thin of from Return of the Jedi has been mined for ideas.. except Home One, which has only been released as a Hangar set, and a Home One Command Room or Home One spaceship could still be pretty neat. NT: I'm sure we will get it eventually but a UCS Finalizer or simply a Resurgent Class Star Destroyer (we haven't had a star destroyer for quite a time now no?) would be great. A non-special forces TIE-Fighter would be cool I would kill for a Maz Kanata Castle interior set like the Mos Eisley cantina set with lots of aliens. Anyway, lots of ideas, don't know if you would agree with them or not..

I dislike all of them except the U-Wing which I would only buy at a substantial discount.
