This was the idea I had when I started the thread actually, lego releading sets and models based on RPG licenses, not Lego making an RPG..

    Yet they do sell CMF?
  7. Levo 6367 Semi Truck:http://brickset.com/sets/6367-1/Semi-Truck Still hoping Lego releases a similar truck soon. I will buy the recent cargo truck if I find it..

Fair points, all.. Still, they could make a Lego D&D theme in all but the name, with something like Lego Fantasy Adventures or whatever.. I think it would be a huge smash hit. As for Heavy Gear, I think there is a huge market for Lego mechs, and seeing as Mechwarrior would probably be just as expensive as D&D to license, Heavy Gear would probably be a very good and very cheap alternative (and they have better designs that would lend themselves much better to Lego's mech pieces and style).. All in all, it's such a wasted opportunity.

I had to cancel a previous order due to stock errors and ordered the following today: Lego City Car and Caravan Lego City Snowplow Truck One for me and one for the most wonderful wife ever.
  10. My impression from our stay in Denmark was that Danes were actually Churros people.. :)
  11. Looks great! Does it open up or have any interior details?
  12. I limit myself to 1 major (>400pcs), 3 sizable (200-400 pcs) and 8 minor (<200 pcs) sets a year. That makes one purchase a month and includes gifts for my wife. In truth I usually buy less than this, I'm rather picky about my taste. I usually buy Star Wars sets with half of that budget, City, Friends and Creator with the rest. I cheat with minifigures though.. those are basically around four per set.
  13. Apologies I thought it was a new release a mod can remove my post if possible.. :(

I wonder why LEGO don't license RPG lines as themes.. I mean LEGO D&D could be only be a huge hit, no? And even if that would be too expensive, maybe Lego Pathfinder or more scifi/cyberpunk settings like Lego Heavy Gear and Lego Shadowrun..
  15. Could anyone give their opinions on the Lego 60092 Deep Sea Submarine? I'm on the fence about it..
  16. Wasn't that introduced with the ballerina cmf? I doubt it will become the usual way of doing things..
  17. There's a typo in the text crawl (smuggle/msuggle) fyi.. :)
  18. I get what you mean - resistance to change is a curious thing.. But the problem with Chima/Nijago/Bionicle goes way beyond that, I think it's a problem of aesthetic that really stands aside from AFOL objections to alterations of existing material. They are just plain ugly (to me and to others, of course)..
  19. I still greatly dislike all three, so it's probably not a factoid but a wrongful presumption?
  20. I think Fire Police would be a huge hit.. And they haven't figured it out in 50 years. Hire me, Lego.
  21. Bionicle and constraction for me..
  22. Creator sets are your friends here I guess.. City line seems to be reserved for sets with higher play value.
  23. I'm really interested in buying this set myself but I can't seem to locate it anywhere.. Is this an older set? I thought it was released in 2015 and would be around for some more? Also, is this based on Rebels? I really love the scale.. More affordable capital/carrier ships at this scale would be great.. I'm looking at you Nebulon-B Frigate..

At this price, and this quality, this set will tank. Hard. Wait for the clearance sales.
