  1. I do enjoy a bargain, but nowhere near that charity shop find 8868 I obtained a 7344 and an 8654 plus loads of random bits for about £20 from a friend a few years back, who's kid had stopped playing with them. More recently an 8265 for £25
  2. Thanks for all of your comments. I didn't have a spare worm gear when I built this - but I do now, and I can see how it could be a lot better for the bucket lifting mechanism.
  3. Really impressive stuff, also loving the suspension!
  4. Hi Just thought I would show one of my MOC's. I really wanted something to complement my 8265, 8069, and 8047. So, how about a small dump truck.... It's 4-wheel drive, with a 2-cylinder engine with chain drive. The steering wheel steers with a simple lever link, and the bucket raises and lowers via a transfer from the wheeled knob behind the drivers seat. It's a bit of a work in progress, since it needs some yellow wheels, and I want to improve the bucket design. Anyway, I hope you like! Billywink
  5. Absolutely Awesome! Can't wait to see more updates

Hi, my name is Billywink. I got my first set of lego in 1975 and haven't got bored of it yet. I'm mainly into Technic lego these days, but I have been known to help my daughters play with their Lego Freinds sets....
