9 Cylinder Radial Engine
gor Ipsa replied to gor Ipsa's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThat is why I've asked - perhaps someone did find something useful. It does not have to be that I know everything. I saw this video and 6 cylinder radial engine long time ago, but there is always a hope (hope that there is some part that will enable me to do this) Kind regards Igor

"Squish" Lego Tires to Make Them Taller & Thinner
gor Ipsa replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi, To make tire 94.8 Bigger in diameter and more narrow you can use tire 81,6 to fit it into 94.8 tire and both put on wheel futuristic (like front wheel on my creation which was commented on eurobricks forum) http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=49536&st=0&p=875959&hl=deere&fromsearch=1entry875959 I'm making some changes on model (different lower suspension arm that finally looks more like original) and on rear 121-125 mm tire. Front is now 98.5mm x 37 I'll post images on Brickshelf when I optimise rear tire/wheel combination Kind regards Igor

LEGO 125mm TIre
gor Ipsa replied to gor Ipsa's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi, since I'm relative new to forums and do not have opportunity to hang for long time on Internet (due to low signal quality) I think I've found a solution for rear wheel in one of images on forum - hope that It will work ant will not crush apart. Please keep fingers crossed. thanks Igor

LEGO 125mm TIre
Hi Everyone so far I have managed to make Power puller Tire with 119mm overall diameter. You can see result already discussed on topic: iipsa's John Deere 8270R Tractor with ILS 6-Cyl, 16-Speed + 4R, AWD, Indep Suspension, PTO does anyone have an idea how to achieve 125mm diameter? I use wooden plates and set of bolts to press tire making it narrow but they have bigger overall diameter. Few weeks ago I've noticed that with usage of Radar Dish Inverted 10 x 10 (http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=50990) it is possible to gain 123-124mm overall diameter - but there was unpleasant surprise - dish 10 x 10 has deformed itself because it can not stand against pressure that is coming from tires. If anyone has some good idea, that would be nice. Please send copy of a comment on iipsa@inet.hr Kind regards Igor Ipsa

iipsa's John Deere 8270R Tractor with ILS
gor Ipsa replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingMe too. Other things that I miss are asymmetrical wheels like futuristic wheel or 81,6 x 34ZR in various colors like red or yellow (they could be integrated in Atlantis or similar set - not necessary technic set), more variations of wheels like 88 x 40R balloon to fit technic wheel racing small, tire 121 x 50R Balloon to fit wheel 81.6 x 34 ZR or some new wheel...Only LEGO knows (my assumption) what colors are possible. My guess is that there is a big change in way of adding color to parts. I do not see other reasor for change into light or dark bluish gray color... Igor

iipsa's John Deere 8270R Tractor with ILS
gor Ipsa replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingJust go ahead and enjoy. I have just one announcement; Since I've noticed on posted image that there is one mistake on linkage control (area around black gear 12 tooth double bevel is 1 stud to high), I'll have to correct this problem ant upload new images. So expect some changes and re-publishing folder in near future - probably this week Enjoy Igor

iipsa's John Deere 8270R Tractor with ILS
gor Ipsa replied to DLuders's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingTransmission is real - actually two transmission give total of 16 forward and 4 reverse speeds. Those two transmission are one with only 4 forward speeds and one with 4 forward and one reverse Only front wheels and dish 6 x 6 inverted on front wheels are painted. All green parts are in original color - but very limited palette of parts - I agree with that fact. Regards Igor
