  1. >15:00 >the 2019 modular is announced >it's a colour swapped version of Downtown Diner, re-named "Uptown Grill" >?
  2. If they include motorcycles instead of cars, it will allow more pieces to be used in the building instead of the vehicles ??
  3. Has anyone else spotted the jukebox through the glass door on the ground floor?
  4. Butcher Shop/Veterinarian? Sounds suspicious, I hope it's not a Sweeney Todd type business - sick pets going in, pies coming out! :0
  5. I see some kind of tall shape on the outline, it might be some sort of spear.
  6. A one-man band would be great, I think he ought to come with a moulded banjo instead, because we already got an acoustic guitar minifigure
  7. They used Thor's Hammer as a decoration for the florist's. And it works really well. I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried. XD
  8. While we are on the topic of modifying modular buildings, is there any way to alter 10251 Brick Bank so the laundromat building isn't there? I can't figure out how to make the bank a uniform, white façade with some more space on the interior
  9. The thing that annoys me the most is that people only see things as harmful & sexist when it suits them No one complained when the first Boxer minifigure came with a bruised alternate face, but I'm certain Lego would choose not to do the same thing with the female version, because they knew people would have tantrums over it, and Lego, being a corporation, likes to avoid losing customers. The whole thing is quite sad really, and shows the real hypocrisies in our world
  10. Tumblr SJWs never let anyone have fun :(
  11. The Spy/Secret Agent minifigure is one of my favourites the mask-glasses he has are similar to these
  12. That would have been an awesome touch - it would be as if the Pirate buried the treasure and the Hiker is hunting for it
  13. Hello everyone! I have been following this thread since before the release of the Detective's Office, but I have now decided to join the discussion. After reading everyone's ideas on what could be a good next Modular Building, I quickly drafted a simple façade on LDD. The building currently looks like a half-baked Lego Ideas project, however it was only made to show how the layout would look. The lower floor (with the large windows) is intended to be a Supermarket, with a staircase to the upstairs apartment, similar to the Green Grocer. The supermarket floor would have foods ranging from the classic breadsticks & apples to more recent additions, which 2016 has given us all an abundance of (such as the new ''quarter circle'' tile with the watermelon & cherry pie printing). Below are some examples of what could be included to stock the supermarket shelves. Could it make for an excellent Modular Building? No cutting corners, no ''play-features''. Just complex architecture and rich, detailed interior design.
