  1. That's a good C model of 42039, i think that was my first Technic kit coming out of my 32 year dark age.
  2. Are TLG trying to get a similar colour to the stock picture of the Sian?
  3. When i decided to get the 42099 it was with the intent to use Effermann's instructions straight from the box. So today I tested it today in the sun, driving it round my garden climbing some objects with good ease and speeds. MOC,s are good to build, but at the end of the day I guess its down to the individual.
  4. I built effermann's version of the crawler different gear ratios, really good at what it does.
  5. I like a clear desk before i start, but it does not stay tidy long
  6. 9398-1 - 4 x 4 Crawler i'm talking about it had the idental chassis and motor set up as the 41999
  7. I built the other crawler before it, i just brinklinked the parts i did not have and got some from TLG and used digital plans to build it. Didn't have the stickers, but looked good enough without. Shame you got scammed for your money

  12. I really like your independent designs, I have used some of your designs using Lego parts and sets for rebuilds etc and they have been very effective. Thank you

  19. OK guys drop the negative on this land rover, it dates back like 70 years. My dad had a 110 wheel base landrover in the 1970s, I loved it great to climb up into front when you are a 3ft 7 Yr old. I used to go to work with him climbing up a 7 ft ladder /door combo to get into his hgv tractor unit. This is a set to celebrate landrover, it deserves it for the years of work for famine relief over the decades and other good work. The military side does not need celebration, its a workhorse. My dad had to get rid of the landrover because my mother could not climb into it and couldn't drive it. It was my father's toy ? Il
