  1. It's an extreme vehicle, but not that extreme I'm getting from the video ??
  2. 1PU vs PF. PU has a battery with built-in Bluetooth. PU has Smaller connections. Wire grips also compatible with PF. Range of Bluetooth 4 is 66m vs infra-red is 10m (bad problems with sunlight). PU motors do seem better shaped. PF needs separate controller and infra-red receiver. As a 51 year old PF user, I welcome the new system which I will keep separate until TLG introduces a cross over connector. I was brought up using both imperial and metric systems, so I can easily adapt between migrating systems, so no complaints. STAY CALM AND BUILD LEGO.
  3. There are six cable holders in that picture off the underneath of the model, 2 red 2 green and 2 yellow. I would say possibly even more hidden inside of it
  4. They might have the strength of the large bucket /shovel might have a weakness in the design and might involve a slight redesign. That's just a guess, but it's a one off part on an expensive set.
  5. I rebuilt 42030 using effermans redesign after I found out the lego one was not so good, 10 out of 10 for the redesign works a treat.
  6. It is big, it has 7 new motors, over 4000 pieces, it's Lego. Take my money (kidney)
  7. I'll just be getting the porsche out of the first half releases this year, from what I have seen up to now.
  8. Not impressed with that bunch of sets, very poor.
  9. Thanks everyone for their ideas for improvements on the Chiron, I have put some of them to use in my build, mainly altering that suspension, the hog and the piping on the bottom of the doors. I did add my own little custom job, nothing special just part 22385 in flat silver to cover the pistons.
  10. Getting the bugatti today so shall be studying this thread abit more carefully
  11. 42025 42042 42030 42042 42055 42083 42054 42039 42029 42009 My favourite of the sets I own.

  13. Just postponed my part build for a little while I,m busy with work and DIY hope to continue later on. Its a great set.
  14. The metal hook does the trick, I fitted one to 42009, still got 2 left. One for the truck crane and one for this mobile crane
  15. I am taking this list with a pinch of salt as nobody can supply the source of the information.
  16. Where is the source of this list from?
  17. So I work in an art gallery, trouble is i think most modern art is crap.

  20. A new option extra has just arrived for the Chiron in the form of a glass roof, who is up for the challenge www.autocar.co.uk
  21. Jeez, I have a shed load to do (no pun intended) first a lot of sorting, then 10240 ( BrickLinked for full set) and finally 8258. To many nice evenings in the garden and BBQs
  22. I have just been given 7 weighted bricks (6x2x2) which might be useful with this set.
  23. I do like it, looks good and solid I will use metal hook.
  24. My only gripe about 42082 is it's not here yet
