Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Eventually I'm probably going to end up with all of them. Obviously I'm getting the helicarrier tomorrow. Then initially I'm picking up the quicksilver set and the hulkbuster set on March 1st. Getting the iron man set when my amazon order gets delivered. Then probably pick up the quintet during double points. I'll either pick up the hawkeye set and tower a while down the line or maybe not at all. I think I can live without them but aspects of both do still appeal to me.

UCS Helicarrier
I'm picking this up tomorrow and my friend and I are planning on building the whole thing on Saturday. Having never built a set that size before; is around 8 hours a reasonable time to build the set in? We're both familiar with Lego so will build at the average AFOL speed. If not I might start without him on Friday evening.

Signs that Lego has taken over your brain
I have not been able to get through a lecture at university without my mind drifting to upcoming sets I'm buying or orders I'm waiting on. Hopefully I'll be able to concentrate more after I can build my helicarrier

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
There's definitely a second hatch that's unopened in that image, so there's definitely something there we haven't seen yet. He meant there's no image of him in the actual set picture, only on the mini figure section. This implies that he won't be in the scene but will be elsewhere in the film so they put it in the set anyway. Also I theorised that the micro figures could still be in the set because of the addition of the small versions of the yellow and red pieces and the ants a couple pages back.

One thing I noticed in the quintet truck is that it says Cho Research on the side so looks like we might be seeing Amadeus Cho's company in Age of Ultron and maybe even the man himself. Not that I'm that familiar with him though, as far as I know he's just a really smart guy from the comics.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Not sure what you guys think but I have a theory that the Ant-Man set will actually have micro figures. Firstly it isn't out until June so there's it's entirely possible that they weren't ready. Secondly the set contains regular versions of the two lego pieces and even two 'minifig scale' ants. So why would they be included if there weren't micro figures to go with them?

I'm kinda surprised that the cancellation is getting this kind of response. I always thought the sets were pretty uninspiring but maybe you just have to be an 80s kid to appreciate this kind of thing

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Guys I managed to find pictures of the back of the boxes to the hulk buster set, the small hydra chase set and the quintet!!! There's a lot of information about play features that you can get from these images which I put on my youtube video which I'd love you to check out. If you really don't want to then here is also a link to where I managed to find the images. Unfortunately they are low res, I couldn't get them any bigger.

Future Marvel Superheroes Rumors & Speculation
Okay I like the idea of this thread, since marvel now releases there movie plans years in advance, there is at least some ground for discussing the potential sets and figures we'll be receiving over the rest of the decade. One thing that I'm curious about is how well TV will factor into this, LEGO Ultimate Spider-man already several sets but that's ending with this season apparently, Avengers Assemble also has a couple sets but will marvel have room to make more of these with the increase in movie projects? Also there's the question of more comic based sets, particularly those based on the x-men, I think best case scenario we'll receive some comic based set similar to the X-men Apocalypse movie (preferably without another wolverine or magneto) though I'm not sure we'll even get that. The other x-men projects I'm less sure about, we probably won't receive anything to capitalise on the Deadpool or Gambit movies, especially if we're lucky enough to get an R-rated deadpool. I am still really hoping for more x-men lego characters and I really hope that the feud between fox and disney won't get in the way of this. The movies are where it really gets interesting, with the Ant-man set out this summer, it'll be the first time that both marvel movies get LEGO sets in the same year, I personally am really hoping that trend will continue. I do worry about TLG's ability to make quality sets under the tight time constraints. They've got just over a year to make some Civil War sets for us and it seems to have just had just had a major shake up with the introduction of Spider-man. I really hope our first movie based spider-man in years doesn't end up as inaccurate as the first Black Widow or Hawkeye. So there's just some of my thoughts, what does everyone else think? Let's get some discussion going!

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Well now I'm pretty disappointed that my UK estimated delivery for that set is March 3rd best case scenario. I also feel like the Brick Show getting the helicarrier early has dampened my hype at getting it as my first day one exclusive purchase. Oh well, hopefully one wave soon I'll get my hands on a set before some lucky youtuber. At least us Brits get to see the actual movie first!

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
I was not aware of this, didn't see them online so I assumed they weren't around. I'll have to try my luck ASAP. It's available (but shipping in 2 to 5 weeks) in the UK Amazon store at £59.99 so I wouldn't expect the US price to be any lower than $59.99 but then again it's not unheard of..

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
I'm still not sold on the ultron from the hulkbuster set, honestly I think it might look best with no headpiece on at all but I won't make my decision until I actually have the set since it's definitely not one I'm going to miss out on. I'm also surprised that nobody has talked about the clear view of the interior we now have on the amazon link to the avengers tower here. I'm still not totally sold still but I'm more interested for sure, I really like the ultron assembly bit which does make me curious for how it'll all play out in the movie. I might pick up the set later when I've got nothing else to buy.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
That was the point of my post which I think some people misunderstood, until a few days ago, the UK release was meant to be the 17th for a VIP until it was pushed back 2 days to the 19th. So I'm wondering if anyone in the countries has checked in the last couple of days with a LEGO shop to see if there's been any change in release date there as well. Also Marvel has a complete merchandising ban on FF properties, as long as that's in place we won't be getting any lego sets on them.

Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Hey everybody, I'm coming back to LEGO after a long hiatus and Eurobricks after an even longer one. The reason for all this is the Helicarrier! If there's one thing TLG know how to do, it's making crazy expensive sets that fanboys just can't resist. Slightly more on topic, I went to my local comic LEGO store yesterday and even though they had 50 in the back room, they said that because of wider supply issues, the set had been delayed from the 17th to the 19th of February for VIPs in the UK. Has anyone else in other countries heard of such a delay or is this just a UK thing? Edit: I'm too used to writing about comics on forums

UK Sales
In Solihull, I couldn't find a store without any of the new series. I haven't been able to have any luck finding any avengers sets. In my local Toys R Us, all they had was an ultra build Iron Man. I am not too happy about that.

I went into town and these seemed to be everywhere. Toys R Us, John Lewis and WHSmiths had them. I made a video of my haul

Does anyone have a scan of the picture that confirms that the 'nerd' has a laptop? If so I might be looking out for several of them.

An internet tale Winchester/Shaun of the Dead project on CUUSOO
I love this idea and I fully support you (it's one of 3 projects I actually support on CUSSOO). I know it's not much but I gave you a shout out in my latest youtube video so hopefully you'll get some supporters from that.

Modular Apple Store
Awesome design, I made my own version based on my local store over on the LDD forum. Here is the link if you want to put a picture of it on your CUUSOO because there were a couple concepts on the minecraft page too. Anyway I like your MOC and envy that you could actually make yours.
