When I see a detailed MOC like this, I think It's good to see a version without the figures as well.

I love the picture but if I were you, I'd add one of those spherical 2x2 bricks with a single stud on top (like the ones in the side of the "battle for nabbo" droid carrier). I'm not sure it would fit with the colour scheme (hard to tell with low light! ), though.

I think the bit with the droids is absolutely stunning, probably no room for improvement there. I would say to extend the bottom part, if possible. On the actual thing, there are 5 of those rounded parts sticking out on each side (whereas in TLG's version there are 3). Maybe it would be possible to add those in, I think it would give the extra length needed.

Great review! I really like your style of reviewing and how you joined some of the pictures together (especially when showing the building of it). I also like your photoshop but isn't it taken from the special edition (because of the unnecasary CGI monster ). Personally I don't like the set but I'll be looking out for your reviews.

Hmmm, maybe the Naboo Fighter is a midi-scale set?

Nice point, that would propel the set right onto my radar despite the fact I generally stick with clone wars. I cant wait to see pictures now thinking about all the possibilities.

Is that the Jango Fett head? I purchased the original Republic Gunship first hand at a discount price (missing the stickers) and my clone heads were pure black, did all the original clones have this head printing? If so, I'll feel cheated.

With all teh new figures in wave 2, I think I'll be changing mine too just as soon as those hi res pics come through.

I think a white stud on a red stud would be suitable for a pokeball IMO.

Nice MOC! I really like the fireplace and statue. This has a certain feel of cleanliness and simplicity suited to the setting. Do you have any pictures without the minifigures?

This set to me seems bizarre. I'm not sure where the ninjaGO theme is going. On one hand there are the wooden japanese structural playsets, then there is the collectable spinner series and on a third hand are these fantasy vehicles and monsters!

I think I might be getting tis set but no others in this theme. I like to have a small set from each theme. I wish there was a tommy gun instead of another rifle.

Nice review, there. I think i might buy this set for all the useful parts. I like your setup of pro's and cons but wouldn't mund the traditional X/10 as well.

Love Gleaming Darkside, General Magma. It must have hard to get that shot. I also like your first shot, Fenris. Loving all these snow pictures, I missed my chance when we had over 7 inches a couple weeks ago.

That's a good idea but I doubt there'll ever be any rereleases by TLG without at least some improvement (or at least change for better or worse).

Sorry, I thought Obi Wan was gooing to be in the Geonosian starfighter but now I realize that there won't be a CW Obi Wan in wave 2 . I think it would be awkward with an updated version of Anakin but not Obi Wan so I'm a hoping for a subtle update for Anakin.

I agree. I think for now the list should me for wave 1 only (a shame for Ki-Adi who got some votes). The pics we've seen just aren't representative of the final model. Maybe someone could revive the topic in a few months?

The sets have always been hard to find in UK so I doubt they'll be easily available in stores. I am almost certain that Anakin's torso at least will be changed but I'm not so sure about Assajj Ventress. I wonder why nobody has been wondering about Obi Wan yet? I think that if Anakin has an update then Obi Wan should too.

My only fear is that they'll be harf to find

I'm scheduled for a root canal soon so I'll pick up a toothbrush then So far I've made the escape hatch exclusively light grey and made the intelligence centre black and dark grey as well as some more subtle changes. Thanks again for the support, everyone.

So far I think the general opinion is that neither sets are very good but the venator is better. I do wonder how they'll be distributed? Yearly in the UK a newspaper gives away lego sets so I hope that's how they make their way over here.

For Brit Fans, I've searched every major UK store (Argos, Toys R Us, the Entertainer, John Lewis, Amazon) and nobody except Lego shop at home have them. The new Argos catalogue comes out January 4th I believe so there's no point paying an extra £3.95 P&P anymore because there'll be in stor before they arrive. I'm going to the shops on Friday so I'll report then what shops have them and what shops haven't. EDIT: Thanks for being cool about it, brickbuilder.
