  1. I really want that Shazam in a set next year.
  2. I think this is an awesome series, with a lot of great designs. Pizza Delivery Guy is my favorite of the 'new' ones, love the pizza box. Not liking the Jester because of the Two-face color scheme. I will be getting: Video Gamer, Prospector, Swashbuckler, Fairytale Princess, Pizza Delivery Guy, Hun Warrior, Lifeguard, Space Miner and the Battle Goddess. That makes the most figs I have ever wanted from any series. I give this series a 9/10.
  3. Green Lantern looks great, love the detail on his mask. That is a must buy set in a long line of great $20 sets. Very curious about the rest of the DC sets now. I am also happy with the direction TLG took with SDCC exclusives this year.
  4. That is a interesting set, wonder if more are going to be released. Anything Cloud Cuckoo Land, Western or the Batwing would be nice.
  5. Very cool, I like Ultron, he will probably be more metallic looking at the end of the film. The magazine said Avengers Tower will be a central location in the film. Hopefully that means a LEGO Marvel D2C Avengers Tower next year.
  6. First and foremost I would like to see the Adventurers theme return. There are many interesting possibilities and locations that can be done. Huge fan of that archeology and adventure theme. Next Classic Space, with monorails. That would be amazing, something like the CMF Spaceman + Neo style designs, ships, bases, the works. Blacktron with the classic yellow/black color scheme would be my third choice. Honorable mention: Forestmen, Black Falcons, Vikings, Feudal Japan Ninjas, Aqua Raiders and Aquazone.
  7. Plastic Man looks great. The leg printing is sharp, nice detail. Space Batman is confirmed to be in a 2015 set by a TT games rep.
  8. I think most likely it is so they can sell you a fig twice. Release a upgraded version with leg printing and fans have to buy it twice or more. More sets sold. A lot of people wonder why they don't give us the whole JL in one set. Simple, they need to spread the content out over time and for as long as possible.
  9. I hope the suit is actually black this time.
  10. I give it a 90% chance of being the first Marvel D2C. Similar size to Orthanc. It would be perfect since they could also include other Marvel characters. Ant-man or maybe another fan favorite Avenger like Moon Knight.
  11. I agree completely. It is not an obscure thing to do, it is a perfect fit design wise. It has been done previously as you mentioned, IIRC even the Hazmat Guy was a concept for AC.
  12. Series 1: Spaceman Series 2: Spartan Warrior Series 3: Elf Series 4: Musketeer Series 5: Zookeeper Series 6: Highland Battler Series 7: Galaxy Patrol Series 8: Actor Series 9: Forest Maiden Series 10: Revolutionary Soldier Series 11: Yeti
  13. That would be interesting, and would explain possibly why we haven't seen Green Lantern in a set this year, despite being rumored since last year. However I wonder what would characterize it as a UCS. The current definition for Star Wars is; the hardest or most advanced building challenge in the product range, which is not necessarily a definitive version of a vehicle.
  14. I thought the adamantium Silver Samurai suit was actually a really good decision IMO. Like going from a more traditional Batmoblie to the Tumbler. Best not to think of it as a purist character, but a more modern rendition. In addition, in the comics the later Samurai suit was essentially robotic armor. Well since the entire suit and sword was made out of adamantium and it wasn't utilizing the mutant power that the original character had, it was fairly believable a heated blade could cut through the same metal, i.e. diamond cutting a diamond.
  15. It will be the Tumbler no doubt, they wouldn't use the word 'exclusive' if it was a regular set. Combined with the set info in Brickset's Database, this set has been rumored for a long time, it was also seen in a LEGO Designer work area in a TLM 'making of video'. I think it will be amazing as LEGO and DC feel the Tumbler is the most iconic Batmobile and deserved the UCS treatment for Batman's 75th anniversary. It would be nice to get 4 or more new and exclusive figs with it.
  16. That is a very good summary. Benny's Spaceship is in line with what a modernized Classic Space theme would be like if released in 2014. Galaxy Explorer was also released over 35 years ago and quite a lot has changed at TLG since that time. To expect something that is done exactly as the originals is highly unrealistic and would be setting oneself for disappointment and unfair criticism.
  17. Forgot to mention, if you compare the Dino tracker with the 2012 Dino theme, she is a perfect fit with the other figs. Like the Hazmat Guy and Alien Queen were Alien Conquest designs that were never used I am guessing the same here.
  18. It has nothing to do with that. The name is correct, Dino Tracker. All I can say is she fits in with the MMO, as they all do. It is no coincidence those six are being shown together. Funcom previously said each world in LEGO Minifigures Online will have a hero minifig and be represented in the CMF line. Mythology, Space, Pirate, Castle and the Hub are all confirmed worlds. They all look amazing to me.
  19. Not long now until the summer sets (officially) release. Anyone else think Benny's Spaceship could be hard to find, even sold out on S@H relatively quickly? I'll be ordering June 1 to ensure I get one.
  20. I agree, they probably had that cowl already designed for the Batman v Superman sets in 2015 before it got delayed. Now they can use it multiple times. Possibly the New 52 design as well.
  21. In addition the Mythology world in the game has Zeus. I think it would be interesting to see an Asgardian CMF though.
  22. Thanks for the pictures. I wonder why they didn't just go all out and do a big fig Groot instead of a partially molded one? The mismatch of colors and bad joint connections don't give him that organic appearance he has. I know he can change size but that is huge, I think even a minifig with a new head for Groot would have been better. I thought the red jackets were not their prison uniforms? In the first trailer they are wearing yellow/orange jumpsuits while in prison. I have to admit I was against it at first, but now I really like Starlord's new helmet, TLG did a great job on it. The small set is alright, but it has that cool alternate Starlord outfit and it reminds me of Indiana Jones.

I just want that Batmobile and the Arkham Knight in a set this or next year.
  24. Thanks for this great review Rufus. This set is very amazing, all the small details and homages to Classic Space are incredible. This is easily one of my favorite sets ever. Can't wait to pick it up next month. Scale of 1-10, this is an 11.
  25. Yes and no. Funcom and LEGO collaborated on this series together. Some of the figs were created with the MMO in mind.
