LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 12 Rumours and Discussion
Going based on information released by Funcom previously at Gamescon 2013, they said each world has a "hero" minifig, they have confirmed a Pirate, Space, Castle and Mythology world. Also, yes they are playable in game, each fig will come with a sort of DLC code to redeem. My guesses: Space Miner: Space World Hero Battle Goddess: Mythology World Hero Wizard: Castle World Hero Dino Tracker: Very interesting, maybe an explorer? Swashbuckler: Pirate World Hero Jester: A new Jester is always useful Piggy Guy: Animal suit continuation Hun Warrior: Very cool Fairytale Princess: Also useful Pizza Delivery Man: This sounds great Video Game Guy: In line with the programmer another fig like that is very welcomed Spooky Girl: this is very vague Prospector: Wild West? Genie Girl: Another fig that would be in a standard CMF Rock Star : Same as above Lifeguard: Another one? Most likely a man, least interesting fig to me on this list Nothing like that at all if it is the hero fig. Funcom has shown a Space world that will be in the MMO. Screenshots here. Has Futuron/Classic Space elements.

Star Wars
Yet of all the games mentioned it is the only one that is confirmed canon, thanks Dave Filoni. Going forward it is great news all new SW games will be part of canon. I hope the Visceral project is something openworld or similar to 1313.

Star Wars
But those kinds of arguments are speculative at best. If KOTOR was instead a medieval RPG what would stop it from being tossed in the bin with countless others? True it has a great story and gameplay (because it is set in the SW universe). It is generally regarded as the best SW game ever, with a 93 on Metacritic. BF2 got a 84, not bad considering its genera and being under critical review. Also being a TPS it was a unique game for the time it was released in, compared with future games, it is easy to say it might have been lacking features, but that is an opinion. Republic Commando which arguably had a better story and interesting gameplay got only a 78. All I am saying is you could take anything and demerit it by removing elements that make it great.

Star Wars
That logic doesn't really work. That is like saying if you took the SW out of KOTOR it would just be an average RPG. Or if you took the SW out of the Death Star it would just be a space station. Of course the IP is what makes those things special. EA said they are alternating between three games, so no yearly SBF installment and DICE said it will have a 3rd person mode.

Future Superhero Set Ideas
That is actually incorrect. Disney acquired the rights for Spider-man film merchandise from Sony in November 2011. Hence the 2013 SDCC Amazing Spider-man 2 minifig. Most likely Disney wanted TLG to promote their own version of Spider-man which is of course USM. However with 2 or more films in the future, we might get a ASM set eventually.

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
The May 15th early access set could also be 10244, a Carnival or Fair set. Possibly that teaser is referencing the 2015 January wave, released early in December to coincide with the 75th anniversary and the show in November would make sense. However if that and a UCS Tumbler are actual sets that would not be a good sign for those who wanted an Arkham Knight Batmobile (which I would prefer above the Tumbler and 66 Batmobile).

Lego Loosing the Ball with Superheroes Sets
The SDCC exclusives are also unusual because we have never seen that many limited edition minifigs for any other theme ever. Even Star Wars doesn't have them, usually they are polybags and do not feature multiple highly wanted designs. Those are true fan service like Hoth Han Solo, TC-14 etc. It is also highly ironic as Superheroes is a theme that is solely based on the Heroes and Villains themselves. The logic fails miserably here. A Marvel TLG rep said publicly the purpose is to have a highly desired collectible. Yes, they confirmed they are making them with the intention of rarity/value. They should replace the minifig giveaway and bring the Superheroes theme in line with their other SDCC promotions. I am fine with exclusive treats like the mini Bag End and Jek starfighter. They should do that, make an exclusive Superhero mini set and sell them like they do for LOTR and Star Wars. Save the figs for S@H promos and the sets.

Upcoming Classic Space Reboot?
I would be extremely pleased myself if that were to happen. But the thing that bothers me is that it took a movie and the directors using CS in a major way in the film, to have TLG decide to make a new CS set. I think if there was no TLM, there would be no Spaceship set. Not just CS but quite a few themes are like this, Forestmen, Adventurers, Monorail etc. TLG seems to prefer to have easter eggs rather than classic theme reintroductions. I hope Benny's ship sells far and away beyond expectations so TLG considers a new dedicated theme.

Marvel Cinematic Universe
I wonder if that is Ultron, it could be one of the robots Quicksilver was smashing in the concept art. Or perhaps that is the "good" version, i.e. the one designed to protect the Earth, and maybe at some point in the film Ultron changes his look to match the more darker looking one from the SDCC teaser. That face just seems comical to me.

Lego Loosing the Ball with Superheroes Sets
The big names are Batman, Spider-man and the Avengers. Makes sense from a business perspective. Also much like Star Wars they don't give you the definitive version of a minifig or set at first. They milk it for awhile. In a few years we will get Superman and Flash and others with leg printing. As an AFOL I would love to get Winter Soldier, Dark World, Amazing Spider-man, Arkham City/Origins/Knight, JL, and huge D2C sets. But since this line is young and limited in set range I will continue to patiently wait. I believe LEGO is listening to fan feedback, this year we have the most Marvel sets yet.

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
It does seem a bit unusual, seeing as if they were going to make another D2C they could have done something JL. However I get the feeling TLG/DC are avoiding JL branded sets, and are just sticking with Batman/Superman and friends for now. That said if you think about what would make a good UCS, the Tumbler is #1 on that list. I would be very happy if we get one, as that is my favorite version of the Batmobile. By the time the set would be released the game will have been out as well. It has a good chance as TLG needs some filler sets for 2015 since Superman vs Batman was pushed back until 2016. And we know TLG could never resist making another Batmobile. If we got that and a set with Green Lantern I would be very satisfied. As for a Marvel D2C, I think it will be associated with Avengers 2.

REVIEW: 5002126 Martian Manhunter
I got mine a few days ago, and it is a great fig, a must have for DC collectors. I still think a JL HQ or similar set is possible, they could include another DC hero not produced yet.

Would you like the Vikings theme to return?
I think a new Vikings theme would be a nice addition. I would be very happy with any new historic theme outside of Castle however.

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
Uh, all the LEGO figs have dark red uniforms (except Groot). Here you can see Rocket Raccon in the cockpit, he clearly has a dark red uniform. And Gamora also has a dark red uniform. The trans blue windshield and CGI imagery make it look slightly different shadewise, but the color is the same as Drax's legs.

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
I will be getting the Milano and the X-jet and possibly the set with Groot and Rocket Raccoon. I am on the fence about Groot, he does look very mech like and not organic enough considering his character. Although the molded part for his head/upper body looks good. Overall though, I am very pleased with the summer sets so far.
