  4. Hello everyone, My second Alternative Build is done :) It's an Imperial Dropship inspired by a Concept Art design for the cancelled Star Wars First Assault Video Game. 5. If you have some really tiny hands you might be able to tweak in 3 Minifigures. But 2 is the maximum I guess.
  6. Hello LEGO Star Wars fans! Over the weekend, I picked up two sets of the 40755 Imperial Dropship & Rebel Scout Speeder. To be honest, my main reason for getting them was for the great selection of minifigures. The included models weren't my primary focus—although I have to admit the Rebel Scout Speeder looks pretty solid. The Imperial Dropship, however, didn’t really catch my eye at first. As I started unpacking the sets, I realized that they actually contain some very versatile parts. This sparked an idea: I’d try my hand at building alternative models using just the pieces from the two sets. Inspired by designers like aranobilis98 and Wurger Bricks, who both created an Imperial LAAT/le Patrol Gunship from a single set, I decided to take on a similar project but using the parts from two sets. My version is made up of a total of 408 pieces (including 6 spare parts from the sets). Features of my build: Opening cockpit for easy access Side doors that open and close, adding to the model’s playability I’ve uploaded more pictures and the building instructions to Rebrickable for anyone interested. Here’s a sneak peek at some other alternative builds I’m hoping to tackle with parts from 40755 (we’ll see how many of these ideas I can actually bring to life!): AAC-1 Alliance Speeder Tank Imperial TX-130T Fighter Tank T2-B Repulsor Tank T1-B Light Hovertank V-4X-D Ski Skimmer TX-225 GAVw Occupier Assault Tank Imperial Dropship Transport Imperial V-Wing Rebel Combat Speeder Dropship (from canceled Star Wars First Assault Video Game) I hope you like my Imperial Patrol Gunship! I’d love to hear your thoughts, and stay tuned for more alternative models to come. Happy building!
  7. Hello everyone, I happy to share with you one of my most ambitious and structural complicated Proejcts I tackled in the last 6 years: The Eye of Sion from the Ahsoka Series. After having completed my MOD for the 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer to Thrawn's Chimaera approx. a month ago, I was toying with the idea of creating a Hyperdrive Ringe (Eye of Sion) that would fit. After taking some inspiration frtom the old LEGO 7661 Jedi Starfighter™ with Hyperdrive Booster set, I started the digital design process using Bricklink Studio. The design process took me roughly a week. During the design process I made sure that all the details are included as well as sufficient stability is secured to make sure the model is not falling apart when putting it on display. Once I completed the digital model I was checking the needed parts in my own inventory. I had roughly 63% of the parts in my own collection. The remaining parts were ordered in 4x Bricklink orders. Last weekend I was building the model and it all turned out exactly the way I imagined it in my head :) I am super happy with the end result. During the building process I also created step-by-step instructions in order for everyone else to also recreate this model at home. The Instructions as well as more photos can be found here: LEGO MOC The Eye of Sion incl. Thrawn's Chimaera Upgrade Kit (75394 MOD) by codyaner.bricks | Rebrickable - Build with LEGO
  8. Hello everyone, I now updated the 75394 Thrawn's Chimaera Mod slightly. What's new? Updated Mod with improved parts usage -> More affordable parts. Premium black display stand with space for 3 minifigures of your choice. You can find the new instructions here: LEGO MOC Thrawn's Chimaera V2 with Display Stand (75394 Mod) by codyaner.bricks | Rebrickable - Build with LEGO
  9. Hey fellow builders! I'm excited to share my latest MOC: a modification of the 75394 Imperial Star Destroyer, transforming it into The Chimaera as seen under Grand Admiral Thrawn in the Ahsoka series! This mod uses 1,529 of the original 1,555 parts from the set, along with 431 additional pieces. These extra parts bring the gold markings to life on both the top and bottom of the ship, and, of course, the iconic Chimaera insignia on the underside. If you’re a fan of Thrawn or just looking to upgrade your Star Destroyer, check out the instructions on my Rebrickable page! You can get them for just 5€, which also supports my work in creating more awesome Star Wars builds. May the Force be with you, and happy building! :) LEGO MOC Thrawn's Chimaera (75394 MOD) by codyaner.bricks | Rebrickable - Build with LEGO

  12. Dear LEGO & Star Wars Fans, I am more than proud to announce that my long-term project, which I started in February 2019, is now complete: The Original Trilogy in LEGO. It took me a total of 5 years to complete this project. A long time that required a lot of perseverance and passion (especially from my wife ) A New Hope took 15 months, The Empire Strikes Back took 16 months, and Return of the Jedi took incredible 27 months. Throughout this lengthy period, I've been able to learn a great deal and I'm already looking forward to applying these new skills to future LEGO Star Wars projects. And now, without further ado, enjoy all the photos and MOCs 5 Years of hard work.
