Belville Mafia: confirmation/discussion
You know, surgery doesn't change your nationality . I think you should remember that this is the confirmation and discussion thread, and you shouldn't be playing the game here.

MOC: Fashion Shop
Thanks. I'm glad you like the clothes racks, but IMO they're not great. They're not all that sturdy, and you can't fit a lot on them.

Harry Potter: Wizard's Duel - Introduction & Discussion
I'd like to try this out. Is there anything I need to do, or can I just post my character in the appropriate thread?

Belville Mafia: confirmation/discussion
I can't deny it, I am quite disappointed that I didn't get to play. Good for all of you who did get to play, though. I'll try and watch this, because it looks really good. I just hope another game comes soon... Good luck!

MOC: Fashion Shop
For my 1000th post, I thought I'd post something interesting. MOC: Fashion Shop by Gregorovich9, on Flickr It's a very small clothes shop for my minifigures. As you can see, there's a big window (I know I use that piece for everything, but I find it's quite useful ), a door and a colourful sign with happy classic faces. Fashion Shop by Gregorovich9, on Flickr The interior. There's racks with various items of clothing, a hat stand, and a counter with a till and accessory bucket. Fashion Shop by Gregorovich9, on Flickr Aerial view. You can see the details a bit better. For lots more detailed photos, look at my Flickr. Comments and criticisms are as always very welcome. Thanks for looking!

LEGO Star Wars 2011 Pictures & Rumors
How much will this cost in the UK do you think? It's a nice set, but I'm not willing to pay over £80 for it. There's some nice figures and parts, but it's not spectacular. I think it's an ice lolly that Leia's holding. Thanks for the picture, Lord Of The Fries!

REVIEW: 2519 Ninjago SKELETON BOWLING
Nice review, pikafunk! I like this set, but not enough to buy it. I wish Jay came in a spinner set so I could get him cheaply, though.

General Discussion and Announcements
I noticed that Quarryman has changed his avatar to a creepy looking Belville doll. Does this mean that the PM's saying that you've been chosen have been sent out ?

[UK] Esso Petrol Stations summer Lego offer
Darn, there's no Essos near me! I wanted that jet ski as well. I'm going to a town near Fort William next week, but I'm not quite sure of the exact name. Maybe there'll be one there? Thanks for the news!

4736 or 4865 - Which is best for multiples?
I agree with Sok117, just split your money and buy similar amounts of each. By the way, there's a tread for this in the General Discussion forum - it's called "Which set should I buy?". If you don't agree with us, you might get better feedback in there . Good luck with your castle, and be sure to show us it here!

More exclusive set info
Thanks very much, Astra . I don't care much about the Camper van, and I've already seen the prelim of the Pearl, but the Post Office is new to me. It looks like a great set, with a lot of nice touches, like the patchy snow and the van. I can't make out all the smaller details, but I can tell it's a great set. Thanks again!

More exclusive set info
Oh, could you please post a picture of the winter post office, or at least give us a description! I'm quite excited about this new set. Thanks in advance.

Vignette: The Final Escape
Thanks, icy brick! The mortuary idea is good, but remember she can't wake up because she is dead. Maybe it could be her funeral or something and no one turns up because she was a criminal?

2012 Friends Discussion Thread
Out if curiosity, have you actually seen these, or have you just got a description? I have a few questions: do these figures come apart (like minifigures), or are they stuck together (like Duplo)? And when you say their heads are bigger, how big do you mean? As much as I'm disappointed, I'd just like to thank you for this info.

Checkmate
Good stuff, Diidy! This is something I'm sure most men have encountered. Some nice parts usage, good face choices and overall a nice build. Well done, and thanks for sharing!

The Market District (MOC)
I don't know how you manage to make all these stunning MOC's, Sirens of Titan! This is probably one of my favourites yet. There's so many wonderful techniques used, and it just looks beautiful. I notice that there seems to be some things behind the windows - is there a full interior? If so, I'd love to see it! Well done, and thanks for sharing!

Eurobricks City Mall idea
I've got an idea for how the non-LDD category could be displayed, but I don't think it's that good. I thought that maybe it could be a collage of pictures to form it? Like everyone would have to photograph their MOC's at the same angles (e.g. Front, back, left, right), and then someone could join all the pictures up to form a big picture of them all together ? I don't know how well that would work, so I'm not sure if we should go with it. Just a suggestion.

MOC: Riding the Waves
Vey original and excellent MOC, Klementina! I love the curve of the wave and the mattress. Well done, and thanks for sharing! And congratulations on making the Brother's Brick!
-
Eurobricks City Mall idea
I see. I don't really think I would be able to participate then if these are the only ways to do it. A) I don't have LDD and B) I wouldn't like to ship my parts across the world just to make a big MOC.

Eurobricks City Mall idea
Wonderful idea, LegoCityMann! It's an excellent concept, and I'd be very happy to participate. However, I don't get how they'd actually join together. I mean, how would the whole shopping centre/mall be displayed, if each MOC could be on a completely different continent? I hope this idea does take off, as I think this could be the start of something great!
-
MOC: Safe cracker
Great vignette, Diidy! The broken glass is fantastic, as are the drawers and the safe. Well done!
-
Vignette: The Final Escape
Well, no. They don't stop her. That's why she shot herself . Thanks, Peanuts, I'm glad you like it! The reason the man hole is in the middle of the road is actually because of the parts available .

2012 Friends Discussion Thread
Your daughter's ideas are actually very good, linc1129. I'd love to see most of those turn into sets. I'm actually kind of surprised that your daughter didn't want any pink. My 8 year old sister loves anything and everything pink. Even if the thing isn't aimed at girls or isn't something she's interested in, shed want it if it had pink on it. I suppose everyone's different, though! I hope we hear news about this theme sometime soon, as I'm anxious to hear what they're going to do with it. I don't mind a little bit of pink (I have hardly any pink parts), but I hope they don't go overboard.

Vignette: The Final Escape
I suppose it is. But the situation can't exactly not be disturbing, can it? I mean, police hunting down a mysterious criminal, only to find her committing suicide in a dark, dirty sewer sounds quite disturbing to me! Thank you, Horry, for the nice comments! Not to boast, but I do think the water looks quite good too (I was actually surprised at how many trans blue tiles I had!). I'm afraid you'll just have to not sleep tonight, because I doubt I'll be making anymore of these . I can't really think what else could be done in this story, because the main character is dead. Do you have any suggestions?

10231 Shuttle Expedition
Thanks for those photos! The differences they made are nice, especially the fact that the astronauts have hair (the female one only appearing in 1 other set). I'm not going to get this set because it's so expensive, but I still like it.
