why can't we have a mon calamari ship model to the scale of the 2014 star destroyer. It would be awesome cos you could use it for the alliance AND the new Republic, so for like the thrawn trilogy or something Thank you! I'm glad someone else wants a bit of variety. Also, don't forget a San hill muun head piece could be used for a custom darth plagueis!

You are right, but TLG have proven that they aren't afraid to explore non-canon things. The shadow guard from 2015 battle pack is an example (the shadow stormtroopers are canon because of battlefront but not the shadow guard). Anyways, I would only hope for 1 set per year- just something like an old Republic sith battleship, with exar Kun and some massassi, or a set which includes darth krayt- basically something that would let TLG show that they care about older Star Wars fans. I'd hoped the yoda chronicles would be a one off, so it just annoys me to see Lego making these random builds when there's so much they could do (where the hec is the long overdue Tie interceptor!)

who is that dark side user next to Dengar? I'm sick of these yoda chronicles/Lego licensed Star Wars sets, for goodness sake Lego if you're running out of ideas give us some old legends canon sets, like knights of the old Republic or admiral thrawn sets!!!

I really want an opportunity to get more of the original trilogy stormies in reasonably priced sets (I know there's the battlefront battlepack but I mean non-battle-damaged ones). On a slightly different topic, does anyone else wish we could have a proper home one min calamari model like the star destroyer? It has even more significance cos of its role in the new Republic fleet

I'm still not sure why you think it specifically belongs to the Massassi? But it would be so awesome, and not too unrealistic a possibility too, if the rebels connections to kotor are shaping up to be!

Where did you here about a Massassi temple? am not criticising, if there was a set on this it would be amazing!!

I hope so, want to see the Death Star so badly- but tbh more excited to get rogue 1 sets later in the year. I really want snoke to be plagueis because it'll make the entire saga link together as a whole- plus if it turns out he's a new character it just makes palpatine look irrelevant and he loses his power as a villain. Plus, as mentioned before, you wouldn't need to have to read into lore too much. Just a simple reference to snoke being palpatine's disillusioned master would sufice.

Fantastic, I think I'll hold fire with my money until then- would really love some opportunities to pick up some original trilogy stormtroopers like the ones from the super star destroyer, they're so hard to find on eBay! In the mean time I was thinking of picking up a TFA set from last year to go with my tie fighter, would yous recommend the transport of the shuttle? or even the final duel (not TFA)

They haven't said it's not plagueis exactly- plus plagueis is a new character we've never actually seen before in canon- and you really think JJ is honest after the Star Trek fiesco? Anyways, do we know if there are actual rogue one sets coming after this wave, or is it just the Death Star? if there are then i might just hold fire with my cash.

If thrawn were to be made canon then we MUST have a good set with him in- also, if they do then I hope they keep the part with him uniting the empire after Endor and leading a fantastic campaign as he did in the EU. TFA takes place 30 years after for goodness sake so I for one still view the early new republic Era stuff like palpatines resurrection as canon. Amen to the idea of a darth plagueis poly bag!!! But I fear we still will never see an exar kun mini figure:(

The reason I suggested it is because there looks to be further references to Malachor 5 in the rebels season 2 trailer, and that would effectively force kotor into the canon. (Plus I'm sure a lot of you, like me, just take kotor to be canon in your own interpretation! Whilst I love the new films, I just think they could get soooo much more creative if they did more EU sets, cos there's only so far they can go with rebels and rehashing old sets. Cmon give us a Sith battleship with exar kun and Massassi, darth plagueis and palpatine set, and some thranwn and Mars jade sets!

Guys I know it's not related, but does anyone else think that the Kotor games will be made canon due to the references in the rebels trailer? if it did we could at least dream of a kotor set in the future- who wouldn't want an interdictor cruiser with darth Malak!!

can't wait for some rogue 1 sets! as for the sets which aren't part of anything, I must say I'm getting a bit fed up; why not please some of us old school fans who like our EU sets! Someone a few pages back mentioned how they'd love a hammerhead cruiser with darth Malak and a couple of silver Sith troopers- i would die of happiness if they released a model of a Sith battle cruiser, featuring exar kun and some Massassi warriors! I mean, why not?? Us adult fans love Lego too you know! On a final note, I must say I'm super excited for the Jakku set, mainly because the mecha creature thing is the closest we'll get to a mandalorian war droid from the old Republic!

Fair point ArrowBricks, they've kinda milked the first order dry of characters to make- perhaps if they do make it it'll be a 2017 set for episode 8, so that some new minifigures can be included. Either way, I'm desperate to see one be made- my two favourite factions are the first order and revans sith empire, so I'd be chuffed to see one be made.

Is anyone else really hoping for a first order finaliser class star destroyer? I think it could be amazing, the minifigures would be kylo ren, Hux, 2 stormtroopers and a commander, along with an officer. There could be a couple of extra new ones too. Some of the inside features would be a burnt out darth vader mask on an alter, interrogation room and miniature hanger. The best bit about the design is that it's almost reminiscent of the sith empire ships of the old Republic era, so could be used for multiple settings!
