L vs XL Motor and Servo Motor for RC Car Model?
dalswede replied to ARXD's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingYou might want to check your link out, as when clicked, it opens up some ad site first which just showed some naked girl. Click a second time and it's something else. So not friendly for the younger members on here maybe. (Obviously you will now get a million clicks )

New Track Rubbers Test
dalswede replied to KirTech LAB's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingThanks for rubber track link, but I think the Lego rubber tracks are all really still to small. I wanted something that would be big enough to make tracks, similar in size to Sariels XL Ripsaw tracks. I can only find the small Lego rubber tracks. You mentioned in your post you were looking for alternative rubber track solutions, anything yet that yo are able to share here :-)

New Track Rubbers Test
dalswede replied to KirTech LAB's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi all, Has anyone tried making rubber tracks like these that Mahjqa used on his Stilzkin Igniz offroad vehicle. http://www.eurobrick...showtopic=49319 https://www.flickr.c...157623237088786 I think these rubber axle pieces as tracks would make an excellent tank, thinking something like a ripsaw. I would be really interested to see if anyone else has done anything like this recently as this was created over 5 years ago. I think this is a very cool idea for rubber tracks and is by so far the best that I have seen. (Plus I think Mahjqa's Igniz is a great design )

42043 Mercedes-Benz Arocs 3245
dalswede replied to AndroTech's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingHi all, I received this set for christmas and what can I say, it is fantastic Not built any lego in 30 years, this was a great set to get back into lego. I really enjoyed the build, managed it in 10 hours, really enjoyed building it. Only had one minor small issue with the crane not turning around, easily fixed when i saw one of hoses was against the cog. now trying to show my 4 year old daughter to gently use the pneumatics, easier said than done ha ha. Its good to see how much lego has changed from when i was younger. i have searched on here and seen loads of videos on how to upgrade and add PF servo and motor to make it RC, but not seen any actual instructions. Could anyone point me in the right direction on here to find some. I am looking forward to modding this, good introduction back into lego after long time in dark Many thanks,
