I am really digging the new Sub Theme in space for 2024. Already got a a couple of that interstellar ship set and 2 of the 4+ sets just cause all those printed elements and the land plates are too sweet to pass up. I think I will get the big land base next and then probably the station after that. I am on the fence about the large 8 wheeled rover set but I might end up getting up later. The color scheme too is really great plus the printed elements with the space logo are lit.

Yeah it felt very limited but the droids were the faction I needed more for so I ended up parting down the clone builds and used those for other things. Those shiny clones are now just in the background beefing up my 501st army. The droids got a shot to the arm though, they're definitely much more formidable with the tri droids in tow.

Was finally able to get x2 of 75372. And while I like the clones I am more interested in the droid components of the pack. My LEGO Droid army has been lacking since I started my clone army with the 501st BP back when that was hot. Now finally those pesky clones will have to take down not just b1s but 2 large tridroids and a number of super battledroids. Take that clones!

For me it is pricing overall that makes me tepid on a lot of LEGO products not just Star Wars. Was stoked to get the new 30$ battlepack but here in Japan most places are charging 50$ for it. It feels like playing with fans' love of the series and not a way to make them happy. So I will be holding off on it just like I did with the 501st battlepack which did not come down to a 30$ equivalent for nearly 2 years until I was able to finally get a few them. Also quality overall is a bit hit or miss it feels. The commander Fox for, example is atrocious, considering the price of the set he comes in.

Thanks everyone for putting me on the right track. I will start doing a bit more research. Paypal might be an issue as it is not a common form of payment here, people do not trust it. Ill see what there is out there though.

I have recently decided that I want to upgrade to the latest clone heads. I need about 150 of them but cant seem to be able to order them from LEGO. I am tempted to use Bricklink but I live in Japan and have never used the service. Going through vendors I am having difficulty determining what would be a good store or even if they have the quantity I need. Is there any place I can seek guidance on how to use BL effectively and what things I should look out for when ordering a sizeable quantity such as this?

Same I also got 2 but I opened both lol. Just can't pass up these little guys. Love them. But one thing I can't find an answer on though is what "role" does the pink one get? I know informally or perhaps formally the blues were Security, the reds were Pilots, the guys in white were Explorers, the guys in Black were Spies and I think the all yellow were scientists. Is pink like a mechanic or maybe geologist? Perhaps even medical? I think folk prefer the green ones to be commanders and the orange one? What is the orange one do?

Got 2 501st Battle Packs and one Mando throne with Ahsoka and Maul. Pretty hyped over it even though I am not a prequel fan. I do love troopers though and love displaying my modest armies.

Just got 75299. Just for the Mando fig and the Child fig. That Mando figure is off the hook. Really like it.

Yup use anything you have to represent the flight stick. I happened to have that leg handy so I used that but anything will do as long as you like it =) I am happy this has inspired more creativity. Do post pics someplace of your mods also =) Also I found a way to insert T-Shaped diverters into the intakes without jamming tiles in there. I updated the article in my blog at the bottom in case you want to see those.

Great review and I agree. I had to modify this X-Wing quite a bit when I got my copy. My collection was lacking a Leia and a pilot Luke so the figures pushed me over the edge. Living in Japan I was hoping the "budget-line" feel of this would transfer over but I ended up paying what US customers paid for their Resistance X-Wings. That was not good but it is way less than half the price of the 2018 one so had to bite the bullet to add this ship to my fleet. I feel my modifications made it more displayable and enjoyable and it looks like a stepping stone to the T-70 in Grey that I got a few years back. I might mod the nose on it a bit more but don't feel like taking that whole nose assembly apart just to do that. Still for those without one or on a budget you cant really go wrong here. The figure selection is nice and if you take the time to do a few simple mods your X-Wing will look nice on your shelf.

Got 75301 Luke's X-Wing and 75295 Microfighter with Han Solo. Super glad I did as I still needed a Princess Leia and OGT Han. Heavily modified the X-Wing though. Added retractable landing gear and gutted the crew cabin so Luke could sit up-right. Gave him a flight yoke pilot-facing instrumentation and sensor array. Could not modify the nose sadly due to lack of parts but added an underside to it so that at least it looks aerodynamic instead of a stump. Overall though I am really happy with that X-Wing.

Well I am board with a continued tale of Rebels. I enjoyed the show for what it was for the most part but also because I need Zeb in minifig form! I missed the first run of him and I am not wiling to pay after market prices for him. So yes, I am being totally selfish and unrealistic! But I gotta have hope! LEGO give me the Zeb!
