42053 - Volvo EW160E
The pf upgrade will most likely be like 8049, it had 2 pneumatic cylinders,1 hand pump and a spare small pump and parts for the pf upgrade kit, all for $60.

Buying PF?
Sakel replied to JaseTJ's post in a topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale ModelingI had several pf motors when I quit lego in 2010, and after recently beginning working with lego again, the motors still work great, but some of the BB components have become corroded. This is evident on the AA boxes, I opened one to clean the contacts and the board inside had turned to powder. The AAA box seems fine, perhaps because it uses a button instead of a slider. TL;DR: Used motors should be fine, beware of used battery boxes.

Technic 2016 Discussion and Speculation
I think the pullback sets combine because the have (relatively) low part counts and special parts. Also, Technic experimented with modular sets in the early 2000s, it did not last long because the combinations were highly illogical.

Technic 2016 Discussion and Speculation
I still think the Volvo could be a $60-$80 set and still feature pneumatics. Take 8049 for example.
